He was free, lol. He's a good defender, he missed too many games to make an impact and settle in as Wigan.

I don't doubt his quality.I'm surprised he only got 4 apperances for Wigan when they have Matt Jackson, Fitz Hall, Arjen De Zeeuw and Emerson Boyce which have play more regular...All average.

Paul Jewell that he was finding the pace of the Prem hard, which is alot of shite because the SPL is faster (obviously the quality is a tun better in the PL). I just think he was suffering from not playing in months, since late last year Hearts stopped playing him. Maybe he'll get another go at Wigan next season when he gets games.
