Things are not looking good for PR with the loss of its DT now PR is left with out the man behind their new strategy this news of a lost just brings more worries, if PR dosnt manage to win against CHarlston this weeekend the board need to really sstart looking for a new DT cause i dont know if Rojas can handle it.

The good thing is that the team that alvial made is there it just need a solid DT so that the team can fully work, im not saying ROjas is not capable cause he is but Alvial's are big shoes to fill. Im happy that the team does better each year at this pase we could be champs in 2 years jeje maybe win us a CCC in 10 , a man can dream, Club America 0 - Islanders 1

Today is a great day for argentina a 0-6 win and argentina's own Gustavo Barros Schelleto has 2 goals in the Islanders 4-1 victory over the Sounders.

Puerto Rico eliminated Minnesota from the playoff chase with a 2-0 victory Sunday, keeping the Islanders in the hunt for one of the two remaining spots. Toronto downed visiting Virginia Beach 2-1 to move out of last place. Charleston edged the Timbers 1-0 in Portland to keep their shot at a playoff bye alive by finishing their west coast swing with seven of nine points.

Puerto Rico 4-2 Miami, next match is very importent, miami is already in but PR need to either win or tie to pass so we have to go out ther and give miami a repeat of friday night and give ROmario some more of the "ROMARIO BORRACHON!" that could be heard on TV.

Well the CFU Cup Championship is the Carribean Qualifiers for the CONCACAF CHAMPIONS Cup, equal to the UEFA Champions League. Now the US is allowed to send two teams MLS Supporters Shield Winner and the MLS Champion. Now the Islanders wanted to play the US Open Cup, but they where not allowed because the team isnt afilieted with the USA Federation, meaning that they couldn't play in any tournament outside the USL in the US.

But the team found a loophole, because they where sign into the FPF (Puerto Rican Soccer fed) and not the USA Fed, they could technically be sent to represent Puerto Rico in the CFUCC, up till now PR have not sent any teams to the competition. Now the CFUCC Champions is then allowed to participate in the CCC as the Carribean representative team. So the Islander's management have called all the players up to reconven on October 15 to begin traning for the CFUCC.

In the CFUCC they would face teams from Antigua, Dominica, and all does other islands. But more importantly they will face teams from Jamaica, T&T and Suriname who dominate this competition, now the current champion Portmore United played a gaim against Miami FC and lost, wi have manage to beat Miami in several ocasion so there is a good chance that we can make it to the championship. Teams form the lesser antilles should not be alot of a challenge to the islanders sence they have already beaten several during pre-season friendlies, but we need to be carefull of does t&t and jamaican teams because they will be the once that will give us more trouble.
