Can't say how happy I am over this. He is exactly the calibre of player we need to bring in. Brilliant talent, and credit has to go to Benfica's youth academy for finding him.

The rumours are between 2-3 million for the other half has already been agreed. I doubt the club would had been able to pay anymore for him. There were rumours that the club were going to offer Van Der Meyde or Valente as part of the deal to Benfica, but it doesn't look true.
