I believe what C Ronaldo needed was guys like Anderson and Nani on the team, to keep him from been the lonely guy on the team

I think you mean he needed guys who could speak his own language so he could have some more of his own culture. Ronaldo is very close friends with Evra, Saha, Rooney, Ferdinand and some others, he wasnt lonely at all.

Even the most likely of them, Queiroz. It's been 3 days since he was offered the job of Portugal NT coach and he has not accepted it. You'd have thought it would be straightforward, when a guy is offered the chance to manage his own country but it seems he doesn't want to kill his chances of managing United in the future.

I expect the Portuguese faction at United to still be intact come September and with maybe 1 new addition. Veloso perhaps.
