To be honest, Moutinho has always reminded me of Paul Scholes.

Not particularly fast or tricky but an intelligent playmaker that makes the right decision most of the time, also quite small in size. At least Moutinho has a better tackling ability

Could be a good replacement if he was signed sooner or Manchester United sells some players.

Scholes more like Petit, a more physical player

No way Frank Carrick, Scholes and Anderson are way better playmakers then Moutinho. No comparison.

Scholes his a Petit, so da porrada
Carrick up and down
Anderson this season, more like a defensived midfielder, I don't think he score one goal
my opinion- has a playmaker I would take Moutinho over all of the guys above,

Scholes might play deeper these days but he's not a defensive midfielder, he's one of the best passers in the United team and usually starts the moves.

And you're right Anderson hasn't scored yet but he's box to box, his fitness and pace allow him to get forward when the team's attacking and back when they're defending. His best attribute is his passing...

Yes Anderson's best attribute is his passing, followed by his tenacity(who would have thought from his Porto and Gremio days?) and how well he shields the ball.
Yeah both Scholes and Carrick dictate the pace of the game from deep, Scholes doesn't tackle well doesn't mean he's a hack, he's not a Petit by any means.

yeah they drew 1-1 the blackburn keeper played amazng stopped them several times

also man united had a couple of legit penalty claims, one hand ball in the box and another foul on ronaldo in the box that could have been called as penaltis.

No big drama.

A point was needed and it was gotten.

Now comes Barca and it's the perfect stage for Cristiano to show off the final product of all his hard work in recent years.

I pray he turns up with the goods, no better stadium and game to do it at.

FORCA CRISTIANO, FORCA UNITED

Deco words about C Ronaldo
uefa.com - UEFA Champions League - News & Features - News specific

Ronaldo threat
Everybody needs to be very, very concentrated before the game against Manchester United, because their team is full of top-class players. Obviously the most famous is Cristiano Ronaldo, my team-mate in the Portuguese national team. He is a great guy and has been playing the best football this season. He is one of those players who demands defenders' respect. Cristiano Ronaldo is quite difficult to mark, but we can't get obsessed by him. Otherwise someone else is going to complicate our lives. It is important to be alert and watch out for Manchester United as a whole, as a team.

Friedel was probably MOTM, he was insanely good, as he often seems to be v United.

He came back from injury and came on at HT for Giggs and was one of United's better performers in the second half, good that he's back and still in form for the end of the season...
