O empresário Jorge Mendes reuniu-se esta tarde com responsáveis do Manchester United e já existe acordo para a transferência do jovem (18 anos) jogador leonino para Inglaterra. O acordo é por cinco épocas e atinge uma verba de 12 milhões de euros, ainda segundo a RTP.
Cristiano Ronaldo deu nas vistas ao rubricar excelente exibição na recente partida de inauguração novo estádio do Sporting, precisamente diante do Manchester United (3-1).
Dias da Cunha, presidente do Sporting, não confirmou nem desmentiu o acordo com o Manchester, remetendo o assunto para a SAD: «O problema do futebol é com a SAD.»

Sporting Lisbon's U21 international Cristiano Ronaldo has signed a five-year £8m deal with Manchester United, according to Portuguese television reports.
The player's agent, Jorge Mendes, is said to have met United representatives on Monday.
The 18-year old striker played in last Wednesday's pre-season friendly to celebrate the opening of the new Alvalade XXI stadium which will feature at next year's Euro 2004 finals.
The match ended 3-1 to the Portuguese hosts.
The news comes just hours after it was confirmed that Brazilian World Cup winner Kleberson had been granted a work permit.
Kleberson is set to become the first Brazilian to play for the Premiership champions.
He now only needs to tie up a few minor details and is set to complete his £6m move on Tuesday.

Yeh maybe that will be a good thing for man utd, no one else i think speaks portugese at the team so it will be a clever move. Will help both settle in, i think Ronaldo is in Manchester at the moment?
