Portugal defender Fernando Couto had admitted he is unsure of his future at Lazio.
The veteran defender's contract with Lazio expired at the end of June and as yet no new deal has been offered.

Couto revealed he had received offers from several clubs and he is hoping to have his future resolved in the next few days.

"I haven't spoken with Lazio officials. Everything will be solved in the next few days," said Couto.

"I have received interest from other teams, but nothing is decided.

"Going back to Portugal? Any possibility cannot be rejected."

Meanwhile, Lazio have confirmed that striker Claudio Lopez has left the club for Mexican outfit America.

The Argentine international has signed a season-long loan deal at America with the option of a permanent move.

at 36 don't count the old men out, with Jorge Andrade out of the world cup , I think he my get a call at the national team
he still plays for Parma, I don't watch much of the games but I know they love him and got a lot of respect in Italy

if the world cup starter's today they will be Fernando Meira [Stuggart] and Ricardo Carvalho [Chelsea]

We got Caneira the can play the 4 positions but his going to be use as sub for Nuno Valente at the LD position

Ze Castro U 21 just don't have the experience, or either Jose Antonio at Borussia Mongelabach

I believe Scolari going to take 3 central defender with Caneira been the fourth in case of emergency

so we my see - Carvalho, Meira, F Couto in the bench and Caneira fourth men out

and a lot people forgot the experience of the old men.
