Boyes is a monster, shouldn't be a first line winger like he is on the B's though, hopefully next year he can play 2nd line Center with Murray on his wing.

Oh god don't me get started on the holy triumverate of Sinden, Jacobs and O'Connell...but I wouldn't say the Thornton trade killed them, what killed them was not realizing they had a number 2 center in Bergeron, and in turn signing Zhamnov to a 3 year 12m dollar deal. If that money was spent on real left wingers instead of McEachern, we could have had a decent set of lines:

Samsonov-Thornton-Murray
FA LW - Bergeron - Boyes

But instead they screwed it up and went with:
Samsonov-Thornton-Murray
McNothing-Shamnov-Bergie
Isbister-Scatch-Boyes

All while not adding anything to the defense, Leetch at 4m was a bigtime boneheaded move.
