Hockey Pheonom Sidney Crosby is having a Incredible Season with 91 Pts and has made his mark which is Impressive for a 18 year Old.

He is being overshadowed by Alexander ovechkin but I see this kid having a Bright Future.

I just saw Ovenchicken the other night against the bruins, my god is he a monster, I think I would trade the entire bruins team minus Bergeron, Boyes and Toivenen for him. That guy is all over the place, offensively, and defensively.

Leafs win again and are now 3 pts behind Tampa Bay for the Playoff Spot.Matt Stajan scores the OT Winner with a Chip Backhander to the net and Yashin wasnt even playing his Man.

I am Shocked they are Playing Good and thanx to Aubin who has helped the teams Confidence.

3 Games left and Tampa has to lose all of there Games.

Leafs smashed Ottawa 5-1 today which was nice to get some revenge against them.

but Toronto Maple Leafs are officially out of the playoffs after Tampa bay clinched the 8th spot .

it is too bad, especially with the Leafs improving their game recently but it was a sub par season hopefully next year they can do it.

I didn't know there were leaf fans in this forum. Cheers!

Failure was predictable and its time to re-build for the buds. I'm not dissapointed, rahter I am optimistic about their future.

NHL LIVEWIRE

Carolina, despite a 5-3-2 record in its past 10 outings, hasn't been able to put away the Senators.

The Hurricanes travel to Buffalo to play the Sabres, who are 27-11-3 on home ice this season and unbeaten in four.

Meanwhile, the Rangers' Jagr has 122 points and needs another four to surpass Thornton of the San Jose Sharks and win the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's top point-getter.

With 54 goals, the Czech winger also is three goals shy of passing the Sharks' Jonathan Cheechoo (56) for the Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy as top goal-scorer.

San Jose is idle after finishing the season with a 4-0 loss at the hands of the Los Angeles Kings on Monday.

Jagr has seven points in his last five games and recorded an assist in his last game against Ottawa on March 30.

The Rangers are vying for their first division title since 1994 when they won the Stanley Cup. They sit atop the Atlantic with 100 points, one more than New Jersey and Philadelphia.

In Montreal, the Canadiens could lock up seventh place in the East with a victory over the surging Devils.

New Jersey has won 10 in a row to give the Devils a chance to win the Atlantic for the second time in the past four seasons. Philadelphia ends the season on Long Island against the Islanders.

The Devils could be seeded as high as third for the playoffs or as low as sixth and face Buffalo, Philadelphia or the Rangers in the opening round.

New Jersey goalie Martin Brodeur, who's tied with Calgary's Miikka Kiprusoff with 42 wins, is expected to start against Cristobal Huet on Tuesday.

Huet, who recorded seven shutouts over a two-month stretch, has only played twice in Montreal's last six contests.

Elsewhere, Pittsburgh Penguins forward Sidney Crosby will attempt to catch rookie scoring leader Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals.

Ovechkin holds a 105-100 lead in points entering Tuesday's game in Tampa Bay against the Lightning.

Crosby and company are in Toronto, the site of a six-point performance from Maple Leafs captain Mats Sundin a week ago against the Florida Panthers.

The Leafs have fired Pat Quinn today in a move for the future.

The leafs were 41-33 but fialed to make the playoffs and you got to believe that Quinns mistake was not playkng the young players.

Paul Maurice could be a Good candidate for the top job but they will be scouting
.
