John Tavares - Invited to National Camp
Just to let you know how Johns progress is being made in his rookie season with the Oshawa Generals which is an O.H.L team in Canada.
Ive met this kid at a fundraiser a year ago and I can tell you the kid is so mature for his age only 15 yo.Also he is a Big Fan of Cristiano Ronaldo and tries to incorporated his style on the Ice.
He is having a Fantastic season with the Generals and will be with the team for another 4 years which will only help his development and his confidence.
From what Ive seen he is a big guy and he has a Good shot,Nice passer and can show off some skills.
Remember his name he is of Portuguese descent and is eligible for the NHL draft in 2009.

He was Interviewed on TSN and this kid looks Mature for a 15 year old kid.
He says his Favorite player is Cristiano ronaldo but his Biggest Passion is Lacrosse.

I just bought his Rookie Card with the Generals this will be Gold in my part.
I think he has it all and can be a Good player for any Team.

Still in the beginning of playing with the Oshawa Generals. I expect him to put up Big Numbers in his Second year and It looks like he is a Good Player.

John Tavares scored 2 Goals added 1 assist against Stephen's Cobert Infatuation team, Saginaw Spirit which I might add have the Best Jerseys I've ever seen.
They had a bet with the mayor, I don't know who won.
Tavares in 45 Games as scored 52 G & 46 A with a total point average 98.

Damn, OHL is like College basketball, an exciting brand non comparible to the NBA or NHL.
You Got this kids playing there heart out and with Speed.
John Tavares is for real, As such a Young age he is a Gem. He stated in an interview he supports Cristiano Ronaldo and is also a Good Lacrosse Player.

The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Oshawa Generals forward John Tavares is the player of the week for the week ending January 28, 2007.
Tavares scored six goals and four assists totaling 10 points for the week. He also finished the week with a plus seven rating in three games. On Thursday January 25, Tavares scored four goals and added three assists in a 9-6 road victory over the Windsor Spitfires. Tavares was named the game’s first star for his efforts. The four goals allowed the 16-year-old center to reach the 50 goal plateau in only 44 games. The next night Tavares once again led the way for the Generals scoring two goals and adding one assist in a 5-4 road loss to the Saginaw Spirit. The Oakville, Ontario native currently leads the Ontario Hockey League with 52 goals and 46 assists totaling 98 points in 46 games this season.

I will be expecting my cousin to be a the Game this sat. he will probably meet him, So I have to phone him to make sure he does.
Any of you Torontonians should attend a Generals Games, it's like College Basketball at best.

Hey jec Are you watching the Oshawa game.. Tavares just got hurt.. It looks like he hurt his knee.... He left and came back 5min later..... he's gonna try it out.... but I've been watching him play for abit... He's a very good player... awsome strides and skill! very smooth skater!

2020, He Just scored his 61st Goal. The lost 6-5 but damn the kid has swagger.
I really think he will be an entry level player at the 2009 if he forgoes his last year with the club.
In 60 games, he has racked 61 Goals, 52 Assists totalling 113 Pts not to mention 46 in PIM which is impressive.
