Justin is following the steps of these luso heros, Mike Ribeiro & John Tavares
Good news: Justin Asevedo named CHL player of the year, he also won the CHL's scoring trophy with 43 goals and 81 assists in 67 regular-season games.
Previous winners of the CHL's player-of-the-year award include John Tavares (2007), Sidney Crosby (2004-05), Brad Richards (2000), Eric Lindros (1991) and Mario Lemieux (1984).

Game about to start at 4:00pm eastern time....
No change in the line-ups. The Rangers' are expecting theSpaling-Azcevdeo-Halischuk line to produce as they did on friday, 15pts combined from those three players.
Last game they played against Spokane, they lost 2-1.

Spokane are only 9 minutes away from winning the Memorial Cup..Kitchner had the lead, but like the big boy Rangers gave it away..Spokane winning late in the 3rd 3-1..

Thanks very much for your email and your interest in the Dallas Stars. Mike Ribeiro is obviously very proud of his Portuguese heritage and the NHL is definitely trying to expand its reach into Europe, with games in Prague and Stockholm this year and London last season, so you never know!
