He should stay with Oshawa for a year then move to Europe. I expect him to be eligible for the 2009 draft and wait til he''s 18.

Look at Angelo Esposito. He got picked 20th, if he went in last year's crop, he would be the 1st pick.

Tavares is the real deal. The kid is 6'1, Great hands, can play physical and can score.

Our boy did good today, he added one assist, was a presence upfront and made some key plays.

TSN : CANADIAN*HOCKEY - Canada's Sports Leader

Canada win the best of seven series, with a convincing 8-1 win over the Russians.

It seems canada hockey is looking good for the future. kyle Turis reminds me of a young stevie Yzerman, and that's a compliment. I cannot believe the kid didn't go #1. kane who????

John tavares played well but he wasn't the star of the tourney. I have to say milan lucic is a beast, the bruins have a star captain that lead a team.

Another 100 points!

I hope he gets drafted by a canadian team, I would hate if he joins a a team in Atlanta. Esposito with Pitts, Sid with Pittsburgh, turris with Phoenix....we need a ultra- superstar in canada and no, sam gagner ain't gonna cut it!

I know some grinders in the NHL who would eat him alive right now better for him to wait until he gets bigger and a lot stronger.
