Fabio Coentrao was save from the Toulon Tournament, he help Portugal qualify for the U 19 euro finals , I am anxious to see if his going to call for the U 19 european cup, what's your opinion

we can't ask anymore of Fabio Coentrao still eligible to play in the Austria Euro finals,
his in Canada, then takes a vacation and report's to Benfica

A Federação Portuguesa de Futebol suspendeu preventivamente o jovem Rui Pedro, do FC Porto, por ter chegado dois minutos atrasado, ao controlo anti-doping após o jogo com o Benfica. Assim sendo o seleccionador não o pôde chamar para a fase final do Europeu da categoria que vai decorrer na Áustria.

O treinador nacional Edgar Borges já comentou esta situação: «são questões que ultrapassam a nossa intervenção técnica, só tivemos conhecimento através dos serviços centrais de que realmente o atleta se encontrava suspenso e que não podia participar nas competições das selecções nacionais. Cumprimos o regulamento, mas é com muita mágoa nossa que não o podemos convocar.»

«O incentivo que lhe demos é que tem de levantar a cabeça, o futuro é já amanhã e ele terá mais fases finais para representar», referiu o seleccionador.
