Hear you go Frank. It was kind of funny. Did you see the look on the refs face when he realized he no longer had the card ? Stupid but funny as hell. Man we have to learn to keep our cool.

I was shocked and then I laughed I'm sure it was just a reflex action on Zequinha's part.

It was a regrettable action, Manny. The kid afterwards felt like punching somebody out of frustration. I can't blame the kid, The whole tourney the refs were against us.
Dubvious calls, Uncalled infractions and PK's that were highely questionable.

It was unfortunate but understandable I was amazed at the shit the Chileans got away with especially the elbow to the head shots, trash talk, diving, stalling etc, etc, etc, it got on my nerves so much I wanted to turn my set off. Whatever happens now I just hope Chile gets it back the same way they like to hand it out.

The worse was when the Gambian player fell down like he was shot by the mafioso.
Bottom line:
In soccer, refs have total control. They make the calls and can easily fix the outcome.
Portugal were the only team that were targetted. You can tell. So many uncalled incidents that pissed me off. FC was tackled at least 10 times, Not to mention the kid who almost broke Marques ankles.
I'm an angry fan when I see this. Maybe we should implement robots on the surface. At least they would make the right calls.

I agree, in all games refs called went against Portugal in many situations...
but we shouldnt dwell on these facts, because this team was just horrible to watch; they cant pass the ball to each other ffs.

The first game they did. Then again, it was against New Zealand. They completely dominated that match til the last 10 minutes.
I truly believe the home crowd and the confidence was the key.
