wow, well every team needs at least one player like that, rough and direct, but i still have to admit that was a crazy tackle.

Hopefully it is a sign to him that he needs to be a little more careful and not get his team in trouble when it counts, he'll get the message.

I am wondering this myself. Petit is pure shit. Why the fuck is he on our NT.? He needs to be replaced fast because I dont want him to cost us 3 goals like he did vs Germany..

He's a good defensive player, that's all. But he plays to aggressively, mistakes can't happen in this big stage.

Good defensively!?
He costed us the game vs Germany back in 06. Petit hasnt been the same old Petit since Benfica last won the Liga. I think its time he hangs up his boots for good.

That was only one game but I'm sure he learned from his mistakes. I understand your frustration but scolari relies on these types of players.

True it was only one game but Petit hasnt had the same form as I remember when he first started with Benfica. I think his age and his injuries are starting to catch up to him...

Jec I 100% agree. I was watching the Portugal vs Georgia and I was like how come Manuel isnt on the team. Pele has also shown great form lately and he deserves a call up.!
