This is my view on Ronaldo's contract....

Would he rather stay with Man U, a team where he knows he is loved managment wise or does he want to go to Spain, Where an unknown future is bestowed upon him. Sure it's cloer to home but where will he feel most comfortable. Sir Alex may be the only reason he is successful as a player. He Gives him mre of a free role then any othe rmanager I can think og.

Look at Frank Rykaard. He passed up on Quaresma after not being patient enough to see through his talents. Sure, Q-Boy was injured but as a coach you never ever pass judgement on a player cause he's hurt. Look at him now, A early bloomer, helping Porto win titles.

Ronaldo needs to choose where he see fits to play. I see him staying for another 4 years then the skys the limit.

There is no doubt he will be the most marketable player in the world, He will make his cash in papers, If he was that loyal, he would Jump ship to Sporting and say fvck the money -- I love my country but he won't risk that.

He got stacks of papers now -- he can probably take over as head coach if he wants too.

The kid has come a long way. Now he is able to provide for his familia and help madeira -- The city he was born and raised.

You all have prolly been watching soccer longer than i have, ive only been following it for about a year now. Yes i am impressed with ronaldos skills but i dont think hes the best in the world. Hes acctually kind of goofy if you watch him like in his step overs and what not. Hes a great player, but i still think that ronaldhino is a better player, what are your thoughts about that, whos the best in the world?

Ronaldinho - in my opinion needs to have a player like Deco to shine

C Ronaldo can do it all
I been watching soccer for 45 years, C Ronaldo much better then Pele, Maradona and Eusebio

remember Pele score a lot goals but against teams like in the brazilian state leagues, basically never played in Europe

for me C Ronaldo is the best ever

ahead of Figo and Eusebio

I guess i have to keep in mind that he is still very young too. Hes a great player, and he will prolly only get better with age. Like i said i dont disagree with the fact hes one of the best players, but i think that may be due to his speed, i dont think he has the ball control, or the heads up passes and plays like ronaldhino. I watch him play, and he just knows where his teamates are. and his ball control is fantastic, he might not be as fast as ronaldo, but i think they are very close in talent levels. It would be really cool to see them play togther on the same side

This season, C. Ronaldo has been better than Ronaldinho, I've been watching both and while Ronaldinho is as good with the ball, he hasn't been as consistent as Ronaldo this season.

Also I was one of those who thought C. Ronaldo doesn't defend but several other posters insisted that he does, having watched that aspect of his game more carefully over the past month he really does do his fair share of tracking back now, something Ronaldinho NEVER does.

Also C. Ronaldo's ball control is second to none

, his running stance may seem slightly goofy but if u watch how quickly he sprints with the ball fully under control and the pace he does his tricks at u'll see he has superb ball control.

The only play in the world that has probably made a difference to his team is Drogba but sometimes he is not as an importance like CR.

Im pretty sure that i just read that Cristiano Ronaldo is the best player ever posted by Frank. At first i was shocked. Then i thought to myself why not? I dont want to get into this but I dont know who i consider better. Being Portuguese i can say Ronaldo is the best to play for the selecao in my time. Figo in his prime did not dominate like a 22 yr old ronaldo does.
