I'm not worried we can pick any 11 and we still do well, I remember after the players went on strike during the world cup 86, they stay on strike on the followin Euro qualify and we put 11 no names and we went to Germany and tied 1-1.

We should all embrace ronaldos' talent instead of bashing him -- he is one of the best of this generation and we might never ever see a player of this calibre for a long time coming. The new dingo, and so messi will be the new king in the future.

I dont think any of the Portuguese TS posters are bashing ronaldo..

others do but thats usually because they hate him, but there really isnt much to criticise about his play on the pitch this season. it speaks for itself, the way he takes over games and seems to constantly be inspiring his team and scoring important goals at important moments. It really is something special I hope he can keep it up and improve even more.

CR had to make improvements in his game to win the award that he really wants. Best player in the world. To his credit, he has done that this year. I am a big fan of his talent and his commitment but my being a fan of his did not blind me to the fact that he (in the past) had faults in his game. By pointing them out and mentioning that he had to improve in these areas is not bashing him.
Now if you want to talk about some (not all ) of the English supporters, well now that is a different story all together. MU supporters love him for obvious reasons but most of the other fans cant stand his guts and bash him at every opportunity. So what ? Who cares ? I was once told, if you are booed or hated by the apposing fans, that in a way is a show of respect ( in a backward sort of way). You wont see them boo or bash the less talented players.
CR has made (especially of late) major improvements in his game. Especially in the area of sharing the ball. He is now a dangerous goal scorer and dangerous set up man. He can do it all. He is doing it at the EPL. He is doing it at the CL. Now he has to do it at the NT.

what a great season, i think he surpassed many expectations.

All he has to do now is bring it into Euro and perhaps be that leader Portugal is lacking at the moment.

Now that Ronaldo has surpassed Best's record he must be considered the best player in the world.
