how can he get fire, when he just got hire?

His not the problem, we just don't have the talent with the U 20, and beside he rested 6 players

this Friday don't expect too much of our U 19 at the starter of the U 19 European Cup

also our best player had to seat the game with a previous red card

Great, one more opportunity to underperform. We are going to loose easily in this one. Portugal has not shown anything so for to indicate they can play well against a team with the talent of Chile.

I dont mind loosing. I really dont, but this is getting embarrasing. These guys have to grow some balls and play hard for their country. Some of these guys are out to lunch on the field.

if you don't have eggs, can't make omelets
I'm not embarass on our U 20, they doing the best under difficult circunstances, they are a team growing up

embarass, Poland 6-1 to USA, Canada not winning any games, Portugal was the last place in last euro to qualify to the U 20 world cup, Scotland a much better team lost all of their 3 games

if they beat Chile, and I think we can fit there way of play everything will be forgive and forgot

Frank I hear you bud. Its not the loosing though. Its how. You are right, they have a second chance to make things right, but there has to be major changes in the team. Including, the coach taking the rope off these boys and let them attack in numbers.

Rui Patricio [Sporting] [37 youth caps] a rating of 4 - 2 goals allowed on stop ball's one on a penalty
and the other on a direct free kick

Pedro Correia [Benfica] 25 caps, a rating of 5- better in the attack then defending, made the cross for Condesso goal

Paulo Renato [Sporting] 67 caps, a rating of 3, just terrible, the tournament caught him at the wrong time, commit both penalties one against Gambia the other against Mexico, and one of the reasons we doing so bad

Steven Vitoria[Porto] 11 caps - rating of 5
great on the high balls, also did well cutting players with the ball on the ground, he was injured and sub

Andre Marques [Sporting] 60 caps - rating of 5, replace Antunes, the got the day off, show very little work, he did had a danger kick on the 35m mark, but that was about it

Nuno Coelho [Porto] 37 caps - rating 5
one of our best players, only one mistake at the 60m mark when he let Nyassi going by,

Bruno Gama [Porto] 72 caps- rating of 5

one of the most creatived players on the tournament took shots at the 26 and 38m,
left at 74m with physical problems

Zequinha - Porto - 32 caps - rating of 5

without Coentrao try to play on the left, show velocity and "garra"
57m took a long shot

Guedes [Penafiel] 6 caps rating 4,
fought hard missed a great opportunity on the 47m,

MVP of the game

F Condesso [Vilareal] 43 caps - rating of 6
fought for every ball, one of the few players the brought our game to the attack, scored our only goal on the 20 m on a head shot,
he also missed a early head shot
it was good move by Couceiro to have him on the starter team

finish in 3rd place might be a bless in a long run

3rd place finish give's a extra day off

3,000 km from Montreal to Edmonton
same distance from Lisbon to Estocolmo in Sweden

before the game Portugal new they could lose by 2 goals difference and still qualify

I'm happy with our team going through to the next round.

Major embarrassment for Canada the only host nation to not score a goal.
