Yes, I heard about that. There is many Portuguese in Toronto that it would Feel like a Home Atmosphere.
I know I will try to come home in that week. I'm sure you Guys in NY wouldn't mind crossing over the border to see some games.

U20 WC 350,000 tickets sold / Portugal to play in Toronto
you can soon get your tickets for the games between 30th of June and 22 July of 70
the request for Portugal to play the first phase of U20 World Cup in Toronto was requested by the Canadian Association of Soccer, and it was approved by Fifa on the 17 of Oct, other cities to host games, Vitoria, Burnaby, Edmonton, Ottawa and Montreal.
the other European teams the qualify for the U 20 world cup, Austria, Spain, Scotland, Poland and Rep Checa

Frank if you get some tickets, you should come up and watch
I hope I can get tickets
one time in 95 or 96 when I was a kid I saw Portugal olympic squad play Canada at the old Varsity stadium in Toronto (old stadium, its not around anymore)

At least 16,000 to 20,000. If David Miller steps up Funding, i see it being an Amazing Facility since there is alot of Soccer Fans and Multicultural Fans in Toronto.
Plus, We have people from Ottawa, Hamilton and Upnorth coming down to see the Games.
I will come back to toronto in mid November. I will try to talk to people in order to Get TS to be there sponsers or Just to tell them they have the Support.

Toronto will host the final and the opener. Portugal will be playing the group stage games in Toronto.

If you pre-paid to be a season ticket holder with Toronto FC you were given a choice of buying packages.
I will wait, since i only want to watch Portugal and not other countries.
I thought the stadium was for 30,000. I could be wrong.
