Once again Portugal only had them selves to blame for losing out in Euro 2006.

They should have held on to beat Turkey but did not and even though they Tie Spain ( Spain B team ) The coach made some big mistakes.

1) Paulo Ferriera insead of Tavares in the first game vs Scotland

2) David Ciade only playing 40 mins in whole tournement horrible just hoorible coaching

Yep, But they still advance to the Fifa World Cup Under 20 Games. What pisses me off was there defence. With the exception of Marques, The backline looked Fragile and missing.

Is Diniz Experienced in Coaching the Youth level? I dunnot. But David Caiado is a really Good Player if Given the opportunity. Being used as a sub isn't Gonna Cut it with me.

Your right Rui, We lost our chances. But Spain was a better team this tourney and the reason is they were well prepared and Focused.

we show a lot promise, we comeback against Scotland when we were down 2-0, we lead 3-1 against Turkey but twice let it get away, the tied 4-4 goal came in the last play, today we tied Spain when they beat Scotland 4-0 and Turkey 5-3

so I'm not going to be down on the kids, I think with time will develop, I expect they get there act together by next year, let's hope Portugal can play at home in Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal, they fans could be a big help for Portugal.

Portugal didn't make the semi finals, but was unbeaten but was not enough to qualify for the semi finals of the Euro, the important thing they qualify for the world cup and some players will be in the world stage coming next season, players like Helder Barbosa, Bruno Gama, and the surprise of the tournament Diogo Tavares

they tied all three games
Spain 1-1
Turkey 4-4
Scotland 2-2
