you are 100 percent correct, but we also need this players in our league when our ticket prices go between 20 euros to 80 euros a game.

Valencia reach a deal with Benfica, but they offer Simao less money the he was making at Benfica.
Simao get's close to 1.8million euros a year in salary, no wonder he drives a red Ferrari

Yes, but who pays the most takes the prize: an old market rule!

If Spanish teams want talented players, they better pay what the market expects. For us is the same thing if out talented players end up in Calcio, Premier, Bundesliga, la liga or whatever. You want a bargain? Try out Morocco or Andorra...

don't be surprise if his on the Brazilian roster for the two upcoming games

will be a great lost for Portugal,
I knew of Pepe when he was already a starter for Maritimo
here is the 24 year old profile
he arrived in Madeira Portugal when he was only 17, and walking in with a broken foot

I have to be honest Frank. Yes he is more than qualified to play for us and would help us greatly but I do have mixed emotions on this issue. He is a great tallent, no mistaking that. But........ I just dont want our National team to become another France. You know what I mean ?

That is true Frank. I have no problem with people emigrating to Portugal when they are young and then becoming soccer players and deciding to play for Portugal. I was born in Portugal (came to Canada when I was 1 yr old) but I would like to think that I would be allowed to play for Canada if I was good enough. The problem is when player get citizenship for no other reason than play for that countries National team. That (in my opinion) is cheating the system for how it was intended to work. That is like the young Canadian that was born and raised in Canada but now plays for England. To me that is wrong and kind of cheat the system. I would love for Portugal to win the World cup one day and we take pride and say that we as a people did it. Not us and our borrowed players. You know what I mean Frank ?

I believe we are still waiting for his citizen papers

it takes 6 years to be a portuguese citizen, and 5 to be a USA citizen, i
don't know about Canada and France.

Pepe profile, his going on 7 years, he arrived in Portugal when he was 17
