Question Who will give Portugal trouble?

The question is simple guys. Considering ALL teams in Euro, which team do you think could eliminate Portugal in the K.O. stages, if any?

holland.
hollands defense is their weak point but they sustained french and italian attack very well, and you don't have an amazing attack..
defense is your strong point, but hollands attack is something else..

holland prolly has a better defense, they are faviourtes for the cup hands down after 3-0 and 4-1 wins against ITaly and France.

im just glad Portugal cant play holland until the final

holland if they make the final can be overconfident, and portugal tends to grow stronger with each game

but first we have to win the quarter finals.

Holland's defense is ok, Let's not forget France had their chances, Henry missing that goal was crucial. But I agree with their attack is absolutely magnificent.... Look out for their subs, Robben, Van Persie etc.

My top four:

1. Netherlands
2. Portugal
3. Spain
4. Germany

yeah but if portugal can win the quarters and semis and go to the finals, and improve on their defending they can handle holland.

we have a pretty good attack going as well scoring 5 goals, not bad but hollands attack is devastating that is for sure

holland strongest team right now , but they have to avoid getting overconfident its not good to peak too early and passed dutch teams have done that before.

one thing that is apparnt so far in euro 2008 - attack minded teams are impressing.

all the defensive teams are getting punished.

spain will be hollands biggest test before the final, because unlike slow france and italy spain possess speed just like the dutch and portuguese do.

If Portugal play Holland, It will be a high scoring affair.

We can't look past the Swiss, or Germany, confidence is the key. Ronaldo will have to be on his game because those teams will find a way to contain him and Just like Kobe Bryant in Basketball, there is a will, and a way!

I've said it before, Q-Boy needs his shot. This guy has what it takes, Scolari needs to start him right now cause his talent is useful.

we need to get quaresma on top of his game.

having on-form quaresma on the opposite flank of ronaldo, will take pressure of of ronaldo. defenders will have to adjust, they devote most of their attention on ronaldo but if quaresma can take the spot on the other flank they will have their hands full and our attack will be more dynamic.

This muse be the easiest question ever asked! The only team that can give Portugal problems is Portugal itself.

LOL very true! I see Germany giving them trouble, big and strong. Portugal is weak in the air.

Any team good at set pieces, and defends well. If we can fix the defense, we should win the whole thing. Hopefully Italy and France get knocked out! After them, I only see Germany troubling us.

Germany. Portugal HAVE to beat Germany in 120 minutes. Germany are pretty much unbeatable at Penalties.

The team I fear the most is Croatia, we can beat all the rest. Before you ask, why Croatia, I'll explain.

They have probably a better defence than we do (including goalkeepers as well and everyone is aware of 'awesome' Ricardo is), plus their midfield is nearly unbreakable and they are very strong on the counterattacks.

Portugal always struggle against this type of teams, we seem to do better against the teams that like to attack, so I don't really fear Germany or Holland.

There is always bad blood .....

Croatian defender Hrvoje Vejic:

Quote:
"We are glad that we are not playing Portugal in the quarter-finals because it would be a pity for Ronaldo to make such an early exit from the tournament," Vejic told a news conference in Croatia's training base.

Quote:
"Of course, we have the utmost respect for Portugal, who are one of the best sides in the tournament, but we are also very confident of going all the way," he said.
