Messi is good..

but ronaldo is the same as messi when he was young he was making noise when he was a 17-18 year old on Sporting..he played euro 2004 as a 19 year old and was one of the best players in the tournament.

just look at his international stats
the facts show, ronaldo is on his way to becoming one of Portugal's greatest.

Messi is the same, he will become the Argentina's greatest player in the coming years.

whos better? atm Ronaldo is no doubt..but he has a couple years on Messi..so its possible messi could become better
but I see them both play frequently and objectively I really do think ronaldo is better.

nahh messi's OUT at the moment, you shouldve seen this seasons matches with him in it.. he was our best player this season, he outshone ronaldinho the whole season.. but now he's out.. he wasnt back to his old best.. but he wouldve been if he had another month..and than he'd just keep being better...

and messi doesnt have a EC to shine in, we should watch the south american cup.. im sure he'll be in it when it comes..

and i still think you take the fact that he WON the U20, to lightly... he was 18 than and he won!

Yes, I watched some of Argentina's games in the U20 and Messi was spectacular.

but Ronaldo also, won the u 18 european cup with Portugal. Its not as big as the World cup, but in the Youth World cup Europe gets limited Spots its hard to qualify. Argentina is always a big fish (along with Brazil and somtimes Uruguay) in south america and alwyas qualifies they won it 5 times Portugal won it twice with Figo and Rui Costa and Joao Pinto and those guys in 89 and 91.

I watch more Ronaldo games then messi, I will admit. but I am a fan of messi as well and I recognize him as a top player.

His most memorable goal took place in Stockhom, vs Sweden, and Portugal beat Sweden for the firts time in history, 1-0 was the score.

He headed in a perfect cross from the team-mate Inácio.

first let me welcome you back
about Nuno Gomes
let's not forget Euro 00, scored 5 goals and got him a contract with Fiorentina, he basically carried Portugal to the semi finals

let's not forget the goal against Spain in 2004, my galinheiro don't talk to me ever since

The kid is becoming a huge star and some day when we get old, we will say that we remember watching the great CR play. He wil cream all of our records if he stays healthy.
