We have to be able to finish more of our chances if we want to do well next summer. I thought we played alright and that we deserved alot more than just a 1-1 draw.

I cannot understand how Greece managed to finish ahead of Spain, they were very poor, all they did was defend, defend, defend!!!

Karagounis is a disgrace to his team. That was a pathetic stunt. What the hell was he thinking!!!! Is he a goalkeeper for his club!!!!! It was injustice that we were denied the goal by such a display. I hope he gets a ban for his actions!!!!

Germany routs Portugal 13-0 in women's soccer

REUTLINGEN, Germany (AP) -- In their first game since winning the World Cup, the German women routed Portugal 13-0 Saturday in a Euro 2004 qualifier.

Germany scored 10 goals in the second half in recording the biggest victory in team history.

Birgit Prinz led the World Cup champions with four goals. Germany is 4-0 in its group qualifiers, with a goal difference of 25-1.

Germany won its first World Cup title in October, beating Sweden in the final. In qualifying for the World Cup, the Germans twice beat Portugal by big margins, 9-0 and 8-0.

Well! Its our 13 th game undefeated then!

Away to the very unlucky Portugal (who really should take the result) we gained many things!

We broke the ice in Protuguese soil.

We played with 10 men (and scored on 10 men too) from the 30th minute.

This group of players showed that hard work was not only needed to get into the show... they are willing to fight for a good result!

Pitty, Karagounis had to use his hands and get the red... It finally worked out for us but this man who is constantly off the playing 11 or even 16 needed this match desperatelly to bounce back at Inter but took it bravelly for the team...

I would like for us to conceed the goal and fight back with 11 but... what can you say... Sometimes (as proven) luck works in strange ways. Portugal could and should score a 2nd to take the win but Pauleta was very unlucky! A double hit on the posts (you should see it to understand! ) is too tough a luck for the great work he did all match long. From then on many changes in oth teams did not allow then to regroup in time for the final strike against 10 men Greece (well we made changes too of course)/...

Greece have to improve a lot still, but our results are not to be attributed to pure luck anymore. At this stage I am satisfied
