Selecção Nacional Feminina: convocatória para amigáveis no País de Gales



O seleccionador nacional feminino Nuno Crsitóvão, divulgou hoje o lote de convocadas para os dois jogos particulares que a selecção portuguesa irá realizar no País de Gales, frente à selecção local, nos próximos dias 28 e 30 de Outubro.


Os dois encontros inserem-se no plano de preparação da selecção feminina para a fase de apuramento para o Campeonato da Europa de 2005, que se disputará em Inglaterra. A comitiva portuguesa deverá concentrar-se em Lisboa no próximo dia 26 e Outubro, estando a partida para o Reino Unido agendada para o dia 27.

A Selecção Nacional Feminina "AA" empatou hoje, em Gales, a uma bola, com a equipa local, em jogo de preparação para o apuramento para o Campeonato da Europa de 2005.

A Equipa das Quinas realizou uma partida agradável, principalmente durante os primeiros 45 minutos, período findo o qual vencia por 1-0, depois de um golo apontado por Paula Cristina, aos 42 minutos. Na segunda parte, o País de Gales foi mais pressionante e acabou por empatar a partida, já muito perto do apito final, aos 87 minutos.

No final do encontro, o Seleccionador Nacional, Nuno Cristóvão, mostrou-se satisfeito com o rendimento das suas atletas. "O resultado acabou por ser justo. Jogámos muito bem durante os primeiros 45 minutos, mas na etapa complementar não conseguimos sair com a bola controlada", referiu, em declarações ao 'site' da FPF.

Para Nuno Cristóvão, "é importante a nossa Selecção ganhar ritmo competitivo a este nível e esta partida foi tanto mais importante, quanto se revelou um encontro muito exigente".

Para a próxima quinta-feira está marcado o segundo jogo entre as duas selecções, novamente agendado para as 19h30.

Portugal alinhou da seguinte forma: Carla Cristina, Carla Monteiro (Raquel Pessoa), Mónica Ribeiro, Ana Rita, Marina, Sónia Silva, Sandra Silva (Sónia Sousa), Sílvia Brunheira, Carla Couto, Paula Cristina (Sandra Loureiro) e Inês Silva (Dani).

Portuguese Federation only got 40,000 tickets left for the Euro 04,
each team will have 20 percent of the tickets or at least 6,000 of the stadium capacity, but the job by the Portuguese its almost done. The draw will be on the 30th of November

Futebol – Euro2004: Bilhetes praticamente esgotados, diz Madaíl



Os bilhetes para o Europeu de Futebol Portugal2004 estão praticamente esgotados, anunciou hoje o presidente da sociedade gestora do torneio, Gilberto Madaíl, durante um encontro do American Club of Lisbon.


Madaíl explicou que restam vender «poucos bilhetes», cerca de 30 ou 40 mil, dos destinados ao público em geral (38 por cento, 450.000 bilhetes), e que a Sociedade Euro2004 SA parte do pressuposto de que as federações nacionais vão garantir a venda no seu lote de bilhetes, ou seja 39 por cento dos 1,2 milhões do torneio.

As 16 federações nacionais presentes na competição terão direito a 20 por cento da capacidade do estádio onde a sua selecção jogar cada encontro, com um mínimo de 6.000 bilhetes.

Estes ingressos começarão a ser vendidos após a realização do sorteio da fase final da competição, no dia 30 de Novembro, no pavilhão do Atlântico, em Lisboa.

Will Farense be playing at this stadium? It is a bit big for a soon-to-be non league team!!!!!

I hear that they are going to remove the two end stands and put an athletics track around the pitch!!!
