Fifa should do a better job booking the refs. IMO, Let an american/canadian ref call it.... they're unbiased.

I'm not overlooking them but so far in this tourney, they don't look superior to me.
Btw, Croatia should learn to shut the mouthes, predicting a win over Croatia.
The last thing you want to do is motivate our asses.... never learn from their mistakes.

Scolari need to make some changes in his first team lineup in order to beat the Germans..Portugal should play with two defensive midfielders replacing Moutinho with Meira since the latter played against most of the German players in Germany. I will also start Postiga over Gomes since he's more likely to get involve with the flow of the game. I'm not crazy about Ferreira and win take my chances with Miguel on the left side of the field.

Meira would also add more height to our defense for set pieces.
I hope Scolari doesn't defend corners with only 7 players in the box again, we need to crowd the box and fill up spaces.
I really believe we are better than Germany in every aspect going by what I have seen, it's just a matter of who plays to their potential on the day, and who has a bit of luck. If we score first, I think we have the game won, with Nani/Q-Boy coming on the score in the late stages.
Lets not forget, 8 of our players have had 4 days rest more than Zee Germans.
This tournament is ours for the taking especially of France and Italy are knocked out.
As Mouringo would say, BE CHAMPIONS!

Other than being good in the air Meira has no pluses over Petit. I say field the same team that played the first two games, if Petit is getting killed try Meira but I don't see that being the answer, if we are going to beat them we have to play our game not try to counter theirs.

Match-winner Michael Ballack admitted Germany would be underdogs against Portugal in the Euro 2008 quarter-finals after his goal defeated Austria 1-0 to earn his team second place in Group B.
Germany will play the talented Group A winners next after Croatia won Group B with a perfect record.
Ballack and his team-mates were far from impressive against the energetic co-hosts but it was the Chelsea midfielder's sensational free-kick four minutes into the second period that settled the affair.
"Obviously we're happy to have made it to the quarter-finals, particularly after the difficult match we had against Croatia (they lost 2-1)," said Ballack.
"We had everything to lose and we were certainly favourites to win (against Austria).
"You could tell that we were not as agile as we should have been because we tensed up, yet our desire to win proved decisive."
Looking ahead to facing Portugal and possibly team-mates such as Ricardo Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira, Ballack admitted his team would be the underdogs.
"I'm looking forward to meeting Portugal. We played them in the World Cup in the third-place match so we're looking forward to play them again," he added.
AFP: We'll be underdogs against Portugal, says Ballack

I say it its 50/50
remember they trash Portugal on the World Cup 06
we did trash Germany in the Euro 00
I go 50/50, more important we need a fair referee for both teams, this games their is no favorites, a lot of time it depends of a little luck

My sister went to a psychic the other day, and she asked about Portugal's fortunes at the euros, and she replied that, Their best player will score two goals.... So I think Ronaldo will come up big for us.
Portugal winning 2-0 sounds good to me.

Portugal should play Ronaldo in the middle with either Quaresma/Nani and Simao on the wings..I still feel that Meira should start inplace of Moutinho..Moutinho will be better coming off the bench in the 2nd half..
