Hold on guys, who is saying get rid of our coach. Can we not dissagree with him with out saying get rid of him ? I disagree with things he does from time to time, that does not mean that I dont have respect or admiration for what he has done, but , if he does something I dont agree with, I will say it.

I won't disgree. I think Scolari is a Good coach but not the right coach for our NT.

That's Just my opinion. There are plenty of well tuned coaches who will get the best out of there players and play the system. I like a coach that takes risk and doesn't care what people have to say.

June 2 -- Ronaldo will be sitting on the bench while Nani shines. Quaresma will be the leader and he'll help contribute.

And thats what makes this place intersting. Expressing our ideas and theories about soccer and coaching.

Frank does make a good point. Unfortunately, Portuguese soccer is full of BS politics and favouratism. As much as I think that Portuguese coaches are as good as anyone else, the politics has always been a huge problem.

then they made PDC mafia team happy and hired Antonio Oliveira, but you guys now what happen, and we got our ass's kick by the USA, and Korea

when we went out and hired Manuel Jose they got rid of him because he would be too hard on the players, its a joke

in 1986 world cup it was poor Jose Torres, after we won 1-0 in the first game the players just went on strike, the player the got us there like Carlos Manuel, just quit the national team, he was tired of the bullshit

Paulo Futre a young and upcoming star, played the second and third game, and couldn't get nothing past the Algeria's and we lost 4-2 and send home

Carlos Manuel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

He quit the national team after the "Saltillo Affair" and played for Benfica until the 1987-88 season, during which he moved to FC Sion in Switzerland

That's why we needed a foreign coach....I respect Scolari. When PDC and his gang waged war on the NT over the baia situation scolari gave him the middle finger. He could care less about the politics....Scolari definitely has that swagger.

yeah... I think the green socks wore only worn with this kit because serbia had white socks.

Im pretty sure its supposed to be an all white kit.

maybe this means Portugal can wear red jersey, white shorts, green socks
or red jersey, red shorts, green socks.

I would love to see Portugal wear their red shirts with white shorts and green socks...Portugal road colors should be all white with blue numbers..The black looks nice, but their home uniform already have a dark shade..The white uniform look really chic even with those green socks...I would love to buy this kit for my son..

That's how it should be -- it all matches.

No way, That is Just too much red. The socks are the difference. If the whole uni's were all white, with Goldor Black trimmings maybe it would look better.

I agree with somos, Black/Blue numbering cause light Gold is not attractive.

Frank, Weren't you the one that advocated Manuel Jose?

I Just want a coach that is no-nonsense and keeps it real. Play your best players when it matters most. Belguim on the road will be a tough test but I'm happy Ronaldo is benched cause it mean the other players will have to prove there worth.

I love the nucleus of this team. I wouldn't trade it for anything but I believe the right formation will make us a better team. It's out attack that has me confused -- Are we really doing enough to win games?

That's the Question!!!!

Cristiano Ronaldo is a great player and i love the guy. But his 2 yellow cards are disgraceful. He should have not been in the game Scolori made a
