I thought Frank mentioned he was a LB. Oh well, Veloso as a DM would be Good to.

I Just hope one of these players can make the 2008 Squad. Poor Moutinho, He is stuck with the Under 21 NT.

If you don't mesure a coach's quality by his success...by what do you mesure? Moral victories? unwon trophies? Ok, maybe I'm not being fair with you with my critics...but come on...Mourinho (the ideal coach...no doubt...just look at his success ) said that he doesn't intend to coach Portugal NT for the next 10 years. Paulo Bento is too young for it (if things wouldn't go well...his career would be over! And that's a expensive risk)...so to who would you give the job?

To a "unkown" coach like Humberto Coelho, that came from no where (a golf course...maybe) , and had no solid experiance as coach (wich is quite different of being a good player! Just look at Erickson and Mourinho...both sucked as players, but they are great coaches)??? To a "passed his time" coach like Oliveira, Artur Jorge, Manuel Cajuda??? To mr. "I'm so good being nº2 to Sir Alex...coz I was never that great when I was nº1"???

Manuel José is not only the better option...he is also the only option! Independent...not taking any sh!t from no one (Damásio's Benfica teached him that lesson)...and hard enough to handle world class stars (unlike mr. "I'm so good being nº2 to Sir Alex").

Anyway, if you give me another coach better than M. José...not José "I'm getting very rich with Abramovich's rublos" Mourinho, but a REALISTIC option...and the fundamentation for that choice...i might even agree with you!

There is nobody better then Mourinho. I respect Manuel Jose but I do think the players won't respect him.

Frank said that he is a hard Nosed Coach. Drago, Do you believe he wil be successsful and I think the FPF doesn't have balls to look at him as an option.
