Lightbulb We Need a Change of Formation!

You can clearly see it didn't work with some teams. I know we would lose to France because of there Tight D in the middle. it was Impossible to score and even the shots were hard to come by.

Scolaris knows what to do, But I saw holes in the game that made me question if this is Truly the Right Formation?

Ronaldo couldn't salvage anything and Miguel was trying to pace up the wings.

I think a 2 Man Strike Force is needed and I think it will do alot For out NT.

one loss the we didn't deserve, on a penalty the was dubious, and you ready to change the formation, if Figo or Meira scored the last opportunities and would be a different story

Nope, I started this thought since day 1. We need to change our approach when it comes to Hard Nosed Defense because we had trouble scoring.

This Game showed it, If Gomes/Boa Morte was Upfront we would have chances to score.

Our game is on the wings, Give it to Ronaldo and Cross, Quaresma is better at that and I can see him adapting to that role.

Euro 2008 I say tinker the Formation or the Germany Game.

we had a different formation and we would be home since the first round, we accomplish a lot, and we played good football, it was a long season for Figo, Pauleta, Deco, and it show today,
for the future we got, Tiago, Quaresma, Andrade and others

remember with Andrade and Ricardo Carvalho, it can free Fernando Meira and go back to the position of old Benfica days, the midfield position

I Just hate games that play out this way. Portugal were so close, but Just couldn't score, Was it our Formation that lost? I think so.

Gomes/Boa Morte upfront would do alot then Pauleta.
I saw the penalty it was harsh. Carvalho didn't trip him it was rather Henry tripping over Crvalho foot. Basically, Henry couldn't get to the ball and saw Carvalho foot after he fell awkwardly and said hey this look like a good penalty. I'm not going to beat up on Henry because Figo did the same type of dive against Iran...To all the English fans it was a dive by Henry.

we should all be proud of our players, the world can be our judge, nothing to be a shame,
Portugal played great today and I'm very proud of our performance.. I do feel that Miguel should be converted back to a winger by Scolari. Miguel should take over Figo position with Ferrara getting the right back position for Euro2008

Quaresma will take Figo place, he learn his lesson by staying home and watch the game on TV

Portugal need to convert back to a 4-4-2...It is very difficult for one striker to do the job in a major tournament. Scolari should have given Gomes a chance in today's game. Gomes is known for scoring some clutch goals. I can't understand why would you take out Pauleta for Simao when trailing by a goal...Portugal should have won this game...

You don't seem dissappointed Frank?

The Game was Pretty tight until that call. But I thought Portugal had a tough time bringing up the ball in the middle and passing to any player that was open.

It was like the French had an Amry brigade on every man. it's Just sad it had to end this way.

GOOD JOB

The wingers main job is to cross the ball to the center forward. It seems as if Figo and Ronaldo rather shoot the ball then passing it to Pauleta..Ronaldo tends to hold on the ball way to long.

The kid the Benfica signed today Paulo Jorge 25, his by far the fastest portuguese winger we going to have, just keep a eye on this kid, Benfica made a great deal, he can also play right and Left wing, a late bloom, he scored 4 goals I believe in the last 6 games with Boavista

Im Pissed at the French. I knew it would be very hard to come back there back to the wall D.

Scoari could be blamed, But Gomes may have not contributed. I Just think when we play germany in a different Formation, We will see a different team.

The Future Looks Good, We Just have to develop a Godo Striker that can lead it's team.
