just a bad performance, team started well and Ricardo just lost his confidence,
I hope I'm wrong but Scolari made a mistake long time ago when he left Vitor Baia out of the Portuguese national team
the newspapers twomorrow they going to be all over Scolari
Couto shouldn't starter should be Ricardo Carvalho, but Scolari just don't listen to anybody

No offence, but I'm sure the Azzuri had allot to do with that. Not enough credit is given to them. They started to control things, and take it to them.27 years since you last beat us...

last time Portugal won we still had the best players in the World, 3rd place in the World Cup 66, Eusebio, Simoes, Aguas, Matateu, Coluna, Vicente, today's players could shine this guys shoes.

I'm hearing this too often on talksoccer, we made mistakes, that's why we lost and I've heard this a millions times when teams play against the Azzurri. We didn't play a splendid game, but sometimes all it takes is too capitalize on your opponent's mistakes...morale of the story, don't make mistakes.

Italy will never play like Brazil, nobody will, but at least we can defend like no other.

FC Porto players get more tired when they play with the National team

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Andre a FC Porto and ex Porto player, part of the great team of 1987 the won the CL final against Bayern Munchen, the won the European Supercup against Ajax and the Intercontinental against Penarol, with high creditentials complains about the some of the portuguese players don't run in the national games, and his players are total exhaust when they report to Porto workouts, he didn't mention any names but I have to say, its got be Figo, and Rui Costa they rare comeback when they play with the national team

One player total exhaust his the midfield defender Costinha he had to run for two or more players

Default Portugal news - results etc.

Portugal the European U17 defending champion, will be in Group B, to face England, Austria, Ukraine, between the 4 and 15 of May, the games to be played in Wales

Group A - França, Irlanda do Norte, Turquia e Espanha.

Sub-17: Portugal defronta Ucrânia, Inglaterra e Áustria no Europeu

I've looked around and the videos I can find only work with Quicktime, not Microsft Media Player. You can view it on the Nike website but it takes a while to load. There is also a special edition Eric Cantona video on there as well.

We sucked big time in this game and the Italians hardly played well either. I think that rule where players can take the free kick quickly is shite. FIFA need to stop that from happening becuase it is unfair on the other team.
