Karagounis needed this match more than anything man! He is sidelined at inter and was givn a chance to play by our NT coach to ragain some momentum.
Actually he somehow sacrificed his personal interest for the team.
Mind you. Otto Rechaggel would wnat to test the team on 10 men much later. He would probably prefer an 11-11 clash even if we went 1-0 down at that point. But things turned out in theopposite direction.
Anyway, ou guys should have done better with your chances from that point onwards (and yes... you were unlucky too) ...
Dont blame it on Karagounis. After all he got a red for it...
Anyway,
Lets all hope this tournament will be full of great football that we will all enjoy irrespective of the final result.

Yes but if he didn't do what he did, then Portugal would have won. He cheated us out of a goal and a win.
Anyway, I think that it will be a good tournament, and I am glad that we have got an 'easier' group than others, example Group D.

Comeon man! You never know what miht have happened!
I could also come out and say... "Imagine how many goals we would score if we were playing with a full squad, if we managed a luke on 10 men! "
But this would also be wrong!
I still think that a red and a penalty was more than enough for you to capitalise on what Karagounis did...
Anyway... I think we will have a tough job on our hands facing you guys again...
Fyssas can be a good spy now that he will be playing for Benfica

Here in Croatia we are very pleased with our group  . It could be better, of course, but it could be much, much worse! Can't wait for it to start!

Croatia is certainly capable of upsetting England or France for that matter. They will certainly have to bring "their game" if they hope to advance.

We are more concerned about Switzerland than England & France. Against big football nations, such as England & France, we always play fantastic football and somehow manage to beat them (remember Italy - Croatia in Japan!), but then we fail with other, not so powerfull, nations (like Ecuador & Mexico in Japan). If we beat Switzerland in our opening match we'll manage to surprise England in last game in our group. England's type of play is the best for us - long balls and skipping of centerfield. As opposite, our kind of play is the worse for England - fast balls from leg to leg on the ground. Don't get me wrong, England is favorite in that game, but only with different type of play then England is normally playing.

Well, its hard to say, Italy and France are playing well at the moment, but I've always admired Croatia. I have allot of Croatian friends, and I'm sure I will be watching and supporting them and I'm glad that they are not matched up with Italy.

I'm glad too that we're not in group with Italy . I can only imagine how inspired would Totti & Co. be in match against us after that match in Japan. I must admit that Italia should have won that match. Refery was wrong when he canceled Italy's goal.

You know what, the referees were wrong in most of the matches at WC.
FIFA has even agreed, that the officials were wrong in some matches....
