The Turin Shroud

In 1988, carbon dating of the world's most famous relic revealed that it was a medieval or Renaissance forgery. Yet many questions remained. How could a hoaxer of five hundred or more years ago have created an image that appears so astonishingly lifelike when seen in photographic negative ? How was such an image formed ? And who would have dared fake the Holy Shroud of Jesus ?

Is it the world's first ever photograph, considering the detail on it ?

Is it Jesus on it, or as my book claims, Leonardo Da Vinci himself ?

Is it fake or real ?

I'm not a believer in a higher power, but I do believe that Jesus existed, although I don't believe in what it is claimed that he did. And I'm still hopelessly undecided on the Turin Shroud. I'm reading about it at the minute, so I hope to make my mind up soon.

Its fake, however it is an artifact nonetheless. Few thousand years old.
