Ive specified who said what a couple times...i dont feel i need to do it in ever post...you know who said what, you read all the posts just like i did, and ive specified a couple times who i was talking to...
Do i think everyone is jealous of the US? No...do alot of peopl(not everyone) but a large chunk of the world wish to move here and live the "american dream" YES....which is why i think there are MORE people in this world who like/love the US then there are people who DONT
Adn there HK goes again, saying that only the innocent death caused by the americans are a big deal...The holocost isnt bad because of an apology, and the killing of THOUSANDS of americans, and impact on MILLIONS of americans doesnt count because weve done it to other countries????????
Not to mention earlier..someone...NOT SINOY..said that the difference was that the US was a major powerhose, and when they kill in other countries it effects the countries economy...Sinoy you even said that it caused inflation in korea and germany...WHAT ABOUT THE INFLATION HERE? you and i both know the american dollar is worth less now then it has been in a really long time...especailly in comparison to the canadian dollar.
Quote:
BY SINOY...Nazi German - broken up into 2 nations and suffered massive inflation.
Korean war - broken up into 2 nations and still suffer massive inflation

Not to mention that because of 9/11 MILLIONS OF AMERICANS have lost their jobs...Especially in michigan...peoples live are ruined becaue no one can afford cars..no one can afford gas...all of this because of the aftermath of 9/11...So it might no have killed as many people...even though they killed alot...but it has HARMED 90% of the american population in terms of inflation/loss of jobs/things of that nature...and like you said...THAT IS WHAT ADDS FUEL TO FIRE BECAUSE ITS LONG LASTING EFFECTS ON THE ECONOMY AS A WHOLE NOT JUST THE PEOPLE THAT DIED

Ofcourse it has.The difference between the consequences of Germany for example was that was their consequence along with many other things such as what you say like loss of jobs to a WHOLE nation not just a state, again not belittling but just putting things into perspective.
This isnt a cock contest measure whose got the bigger jewels here. One was given war crimes while the other (USA) has yet to recieve any.The terror attacks should not be compared to giving judgement to a nation since that is completely wrong and totally uncalled for.
We cant compare inflation rates between Germany or Korea(although Korea would be most accurate although their civil war was just in the 90's)....but as a whole nation America should stand up to this and as you say elect a proper President or government who is against this sort of stuff.Contact your Senator...your Congressman...ofcourse theres a risk that some men in black may take you far far away and you may never see the sun again but still at least you aknowledge whats going on....

Ya i agree...but the job loss and inflation in the US is NATION wide...not just the state of michigan...the job market is down, inflation is up.. you cant sell a house anywhere right now..no state not even in california...9/11 has had it effects from NYC to LA..and everywhere in between...I agree that we need to stop this shit, but we cant change whats already been done...
Ive even heard controversies that osama bin laden is and al queda are fictional charecters made up by the bush adminstration to instill have and anger by americans into the middle eastern nations so that he could go there to get oil...Idk know the truth...all i know is if this guy was real...the US ARMED FORCES should have found him by now....
If the US wants to go to iraq and fight there SOLDIERS for the land and the oil..im fine with that...thats part of life...but civilians are civilians and should be left out of it...If a soldier dies in war...yes its a shame...but thats what he signed up for...

Not all of the deaths were innocent, as shown by the original topic. I find it saddening and a tragedy that thousands of Americans were killed, and millions affected. Nobody is belittling that and nobody is saying that only the deaths caused by Americans are a big deal. Just take a step back and look at it from a total and neutral perspective. Then you'll realise that compared to what the Americans have inflicted on other peoples, 9/11 isn't as big as you make out.
On another note, you have to stop putting words in my mouth. I never said the Holocaust wasn't bad, I just said that at least the Germans had the decency to apologise for it. That's in stark contrast to the ridiculous attempts at justifying their atrocities by the American government.

Oh, poor people in Michigan lost their jobs. The fucking poor people in Iraq, lost their lives. Their kids run the fucking risk of stepping on some landmine. Some of these people have lost their houses and most of their family. Some of the families in Korea can't have a proper family reunion because half the family is in North Korea. Some people in Vietnam have cancer because of the chemicals the US Army used.
And really, 9/11 only brought down a few buildings in New York City. The rest of the shit you emphasise is the aftermath of your government's ill-advised decision to wage a crusade against the Middle East and "terror".

You were one of the people who said...you cant compair other events to what american does to other countries because they arent the same...but now you try and say that 9/11 isnt as bad as compaired to other events in time...the same thing i said in the begining of this thread...that this war in iraq isnt as bad as the holocost for example....so i cant use this logic...but you can?
You tell me to "take a step back and see that 9/11 wasnt as destructful as what the US has done to other countries"
But i cant say "take a step back and see that the ware in iraq or other countries isnt as destructful as what the germans did in the holocost"
WHAT THE FUCK IS THE DIFFERENCE? WHY CAN U USE THAT LOGIC TO DEFEND YOUR SIDE...BUT I CANT?????????????????????????????
And the landminds????Ya we arent setthing those...its the fuckin iraqis setting the "improvied explosive devices" that are killing their own innocent people....

But i cant say...iraq isnt as bad as what other countries have done in the past????

I never said that you couldn't compare past events. Maybe you're just confused.
Anyway, I'm quite tired of this thread so this is going to be my last post. I'm sure you've had enough as well.

The people spouting on here are from countries that do fuck all for world peace. I mean sinoy, for example, CANADA, I would say Jesus Christ, if I believed in Jesus fucking Christ !!!!
Kyan, Iran, fuck me. They're a country promoting world peace aren't they ? (And we remain friends in the Man Utd forum Kyan irrespective of this....)
You would think the sun shone out of their asses.
Well, I will always support America and Britain in hounding out the scum terrorists that have turned this earth into a war zone. Terrorists that claim to be martyrs of islam. And it's because of muslim terrorists that we find ourselves where we are today. Not because of America.
And you know what ? I'm not religious in any way so I can say what I want about islam, or any religion, without feeling guilt of any kind.
Religion is the cause of most wars nowadays. Namely those terrorists that call themselves muslims.
When I was growing up in Belfast, terrorists murdered indiscriminately in my city and all over my country for 35 years. Almost 4,000 lives were lost. Many of them were my friends and family. And for what ? This is precisely the reason why I think we should support the shoot to kill policy of America and the UN of all terrorists. Shoot them dead on sight. Don't give these bastards a chance, because sure as hell, they'll take it and you and I will suffer for it.
Al-Qaeda are the terror organisation of today. They murder at will.
Now, the only way to stop them is to kill them. Fuck all this bullshit about their human rights.
Terrorism has claimed many victims in my country. The USA helped end that.
The USA supported the IRA's stance in their terror campaign against the British in Ireland for 35 years. Then when they were attacked by terrorists, they changed their mind and declared a war on terror. Suddenly, the terror campaign in Ireland ceased. Then Clinton came over and finalised everything. They didn't need to do anyhting, just declare war and the IRA vanished, cowards that they always were.
I understand if you think ill of America because of this. I did, at first. But it worked.
Al-Qaeda won't be just as simple.
