You should use the metric system as its far superior to your current system.
Actually, the reason Canada changed over, as it was costing us millions.
Isn't it funny that only the US, Britain and Japan use the archaic crap system that you lot use.
And before you blast me for saying so, do some research on it.
One more thing, just because you don't use it "officially", I bet it used extensively in some business and most of science.

This sediment is precisely why Britain will fall behind, as there is no way you will be able to compete with a United Europe. Its only a matter of time before the "other" shoe drops.

Ok then tell me what this Hitler through democracy means? Hitler was a person.
We already got Hitler through democracy because he was elected in 1933. This sure looked different than the situation now.
About your first post like I already said this whole language changig thing is just not true. You didn't even give a proper source you just wrote it.

It was a quote from Jeremy Clarkson's book. I said that it was Hitler through Democracy.
It was just a very funny quote from a book. But it was true.
Thank fuck you aren't in the German Government. Maybe you are. If you are, go fuck yourself.

The US is not really "wealthy", check their books. They spend a lot though.
Japan has been in a recession since the late eighties, and still are not out of it.
Britain has done well, but so has Germany or Canada, and they use the metric system. Not really sure what your point is?
This is what you have to know, most business is conducted using the metric system, and most sciences use it, if not all.
The Imperial system is an archaic system, which is hard to understand and is not related.

it's not Germany that's trying to impose Europe on, well, Europe but infact that little prick Sarkozy. trying to force through the Lisbon Treaty in Ireland. now i'm not Pro-Lisbon or Anti-Lisbon, mostly because there was no effective campaign in Ireland detailing what effects both sides would have on the EU and the nation. but when the treaty was rejected, Sarkozy said he would go around the Irish vote to get it pushed through, which of course cannot be done, but the sheer arrogance of saying that is enough to tell me what kind of man he is.

It's a form of communism mate.
Everything is done through the ballot legitimately, but if it doesn't meet the needs of Europe, namely Germany, plans are instigated to get their rules pushed through. France are their Number 1 Arselickers, so Sarkozy's actions aren't really a surprise.
I live in Northern Ireland, so I don't have a vote down there (even though you get one up here ), that's for another day, but you ensure that everyone down there rejects these Euro cunts because you are making a valued stand against the new communism.
Some day soon, I bet democracy is abolished, once Germany have control. And we all know how dangerous that can be.
