Just took an astronomy class this summer....Its safe to say that there are infinte amount of universes.Also theres theories on how to revert time....aka Time travel using Dark matter from space....ofcourse all this is theories but its quite interesting.

Getting back to exploration.Until we figure out how to travel at the speed of light we're pretty much useless.In our Galaxy alone ( Milky way ) we havent even reached the tip of the iceberg.Hearing about larger Galaxies such as Andromeda and other spiral galaxies one has to wonder if we're really "alone"....or if scientists made up all this jazz

The Bible says "The Day of Lord will come like a thief in the night.If the owner of the house knew when the thief was coming he would keep watch,but since you do not know keep watch,for the Son Of Man will come at an hour that you do not know."

I agree with what most people have said,there has been scary times in each age (even before Jesus,not just after) and everyone has thought it was close to the end.Many people thought World war 2.What I say is there are great implications that it could be the end,but then again it could just be the scary times of this age.We don't know we aren't God.

If there's a God, why wouldn't he save his children (us, apparently) if the end of the world was imminent ? Why couldn't the great one stick us all on Noah's Spaceship and fly us to heaven ? Why ? Because he doesn't exist.

The theory of evolution is the only explanation of our existence after a massive collision when an asteroid hit Earth millions of years ago.

According to the records held by NASA, we are due a near miss in 2038 (?). The asteroid will come to within 2000 miles of the Earth's surface. I don't think that's worth worrying about, do you ?

But we will be hit one day, like we were before mankind evolved.

I don't think we have much to worry about at this present time.................

But its not limited to America (although, religious zealots always are a little more susceptible to Armageddon theory). People have been using Armageddon theory for...well I can't say how long but I'd be willing to be forever. Its been used as a convenient political-religious term that attempts to justify the most absurd causes.

Evolution asks questions, while creationists don't ask. Its what is said and that is it. To me, that is a huge difference, and where creationists lose this debate hands down.

The "book" says so, so that is it.

I prefer to ask questions to find out the truth. So evolution is not the answer, lets try to find one.

I'm close-minded ? I don't believe in God. Is that a problem with you Mike ? IMO, God does not and never has existed. He is a fantasy created by people from yonks ago who needed something to believe in to give them hope. The Egyptians apparently built temples and pyramids to prepare their Pharaohs and Kings for the "afterlife". There was so much emphasis on being comfortable in death, rather than focussing on being comfortable in life.

And Noak's Ark IS a joke. If every creature went in two by two, that ark would've sunk !!

Because scientists say so ? No, because there is EVIDENCE. There's NO EVIDENCE of God's existence, just a book claiming this and that. Do you believe in that book ? If so, fair dinkum. I don't deny that there is truth in the bible though.

Where did the asteroid come from ? The universe is a vast thing. Stars explode all the time and send billions of matter into orbit. Collisions happen all the time sending matter into orbit.

Where did the earth come from ? The one billion dollar question eh ? I don't know, but I believe that it was born from matter accumulating together over trillions of years. The fact that it was born at an exact distance from the sun was pure luck for the birth of life to succeed.

Nobody has seen the Theory of Evolution happen ? Exactly. But why are the human race a lot taller now than we were 100 years ago ? That's a simple example. Because we are evolving all the time. Why are lungs and gills similar in their function ?

Don't get me wrong. If God exists, great. It means that when I die, I'll "live" happily ever afterlife. But I think he was a creation made yonks ago for the human race, to give them hope and a will to live. I don't doubt that Jesus ever existed by the way. I believe he did, but he wasn't all that he was cracked up to be. IN MY OPINION.

I believe that if an asteroid doesn't get us within the next 1 million years, the sun will.............

The reason we are alot taller than 100 years ago(at least in the western world)is because meat it so cheap.In those days meat consumption was nowere near the level of this day.That's well documented by the way,go check out any vegan evangelists and science.What is it?In the last hundred years humans have decided to try to reach higher heights with their hands therefore our bodies have stretched out because of evolution?

Lungs and gills similar in function?See this is what seems silly to me.Just because a fish has gills,and a human has lungs for the same function,why is it that we must conclude "therefore humans have evolved from fish."??How does that prove that there was no creator?God created all creatures,all creatures must breathe,eat,ect. so why wouldn't they have similar functions within their bodies?

I still question this evidence you speak of.If the scientists are secular,of course they will interpret whatever evidence they have to their philosophy.It's not evidence,it's their interpretation.

And He does exist,and if you don't put your trust in the Sin Sacrifice of Jesus Christ,you won't live happily ever after.

When it comes to Noah's Ark,the fact that you don't believe in a Creator is why you let the miracle of Noah's Ark be turned into a joke.If God created ALL things,how easy must it be for God to get 2 of every creature on the Ark?

The problem with mankind is they wish to see things the way they want to see it.They don't like someone like Jesus Christ who said "Unless you change you will perish" or "Those who hate me, hate God,and those who don't believe in me are already damned."We all love the Jesus who talks of peace,but we ALL hate the Jesus who says "Change for the kingdom of heaven is at hand"None can come to God,unless they are drawn by God's power.For we are all born sinful people,you see it in children when they don't listen to their parents even at a young age.We in our human nature are so against a God who demands obedience. Armageddon. Well I think there will come one day where the world will end. There are numerous things that can cause the end of the world. Flooding from all the melting ice bergs. Of course a comet or asteroide impacting earth. (which is kind of a scary thought knowing that there are tons of them floating around in space). And remember not in our life time or anytime soon after that the sun will expand and die because it is a star, but that is in like 4 billion years. There can be sever changes in climate not to end our world but completley mess it up. but who's to know when any of this can happen?

If he loves the earth that much, why allow it to deteriorate so drastically ? Why allow his believers to die horrible deaths ? Why allow earthquakes, floods, homosexuality ????

The sun will die in 4 billion years or so, and we will die with it. Will god save us ?
