I got it wrong, he's still only 19. He scored 3 goals last season and he already has 2 this campaign.

Yeah, the likes of Dessena are perfect examples of what the Parma youth system is capable of.

Watching him play I reckon he'd make a good trequartista as well, have Parma used him in that position yet?

Pioli has really used him to partner Grella which is a waste as Grella thinks he has a good offensive game (he doesnt) this forces dessena to stay back, he has bags more talent than the players around him but pioli doesnt see it...

Well I agree with that. From what I've seen Dessena is definitely not a battling central midfielder, he's a creator and a passer as well as someone with a bit of pace. You could drop Morfeo and play him further forward.

At the Tardini we could play both but away pioli has adopted the grit of bolano and grella, but vince doesnt care he is thinking of palermo

that said with piolis 532 dessena and morfeo could work if they did it would be a fearsome attack...dessena would track back for the balls morfeo was to lazy to get

They're set to lose Liverani so they obviously see Dessena as the ideal replacement.

Dessena isn't really that proven yet to be honest he is still rough around the edges and will get even less playing time at Fio than he will at Parma.

Plus he is a future Parma captain (he has stated this before) and if Ghirardi wants him to stay he will stay
