Congrat's Inter, on another un-deserved scudetto, and a new record. It's a step up from stealing, a further step up from winning with no competition, but still pretty sad.
Serie A/ L'Osservatorio sugli errori arbitrali: 52% di partite falsate. Milan e Juve penalizzatissime - Affaritaliani.it
The stats will only get worse come the end of the season. Most importantly, even if u disagree with whether the call's were right or wrong, the fact still remains that there were more controversial game deciding calls than any of the years Moggi was in charge, and Inter were the beneficiary of the vast majority of these calls.

It's a shame to see Parma go down...they played with heart today and deserve respect. If it was any other team, Parma would of had a few more calls down their way.

Regardless if we won or not Catania managed the draw so we still would have gone down.... I'm devastated don't think i can cope watching the squad get ripped apart in the summer.....
At least Serie B will be a change and we will look to actually win something next season at least.....

I just want to congratulate Roma for pushing us until the last day of the season.
Ibra came through, and he was our talisman. He was saved until the last day, and he came through.
FORZA INTER!

So a supporter of one team cannot show respect to another?
How exactly is that classless?

I think the comment is way over the top. We won today, we were better.
If Inter wins its fishy, if Roma wins its a miracle comeback and a great season?
Please....
Team came together, and our star player came through. That is what sports is meant to be.
That's all.

The Inter players deserve credit for their performances this season...but it has to be frustrating for Parma fans to see the Vieira elbow, the Matrix foul on Budan, the foul on Lucarelli go unnoticed.

Give me a few days...but, as i've said before Inter players showed their class when the ball is at their foot for the majority of the season.

De Rossi bitter at the refs..
Quote:
De Rossi: Refs won it for Inter
Sunday 18 May, 2008
Daniele De Rossi has launched a vicious attack on title winners Inter, suggesting they only got the Scudetto through aid from referees.
“I may be bitter, but I will not forget that in the two months when Inter had the most difficulties, they won the way everyone saw…”
This is certainly not the first time Roma and midfielder De Rossi have accused the Nerazzurri of receiving favours from officials.
One of the most controversial incidents was a penalty for Fernando Couto’s handling offence that gave Inter victory over Parma at San Siro at the midway stage of the tournament.
“I did not want to say this before the last game because I didn’t like to further charge up the decisive Sunday, but those are my views on this season.”
Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic hit out at the ‘haters’ by complimenting Roma for their performance, but stating that his team were still better.
“I thank Stankovic, but it’s easy to give compliments when you win. It’s more difficult for me to compliment them, especially with the way they won it.”
The lead had been whittled down to one point from a height of 11 in February, but once it became clear Inter had won in Parma, Roma relaxed and Catania equalised in their Massimino clash.

What are you harping about?
Look, I'm pretty pissed about Parma going down as you. I like Parma, you KNOW what, I like Roma too.
Check my posts in the Italian section about that.
However, I'm very happy at the moment also. I meant no disrespect to your club, FR or you.
But I will say this. Parma have been on a spiral downward for the past three seasons. And the management have been making bonehead moves. To leave it until the last day of the season, against formidable opposition is playing with fire.
In nutshell, Parma will be much stronger, not unlike Fiorentina and Napoli are now.
However it does suck, and I feel for you.
I meant no disprect towards you, FR or Parma or Roma.
That is what I have to say about that.

Let's all just calmed down a bit....there's a lot of emotions going on and all of us all in the wrong. We all have a strong passion for our teams of choice and we're all just getting too worked up.
I for one am much calmer now, then i was 2 hrs ago...i'm still furious/disappointed/upset etc...but, nothing we can do about it now.
Let's let cooler heads prevail.

Ok cool I respect that and that Inter won the Serie A I am just annoyed at what the management has done not least at the appointment of Cuper when Di Carlo would have done a better job of keeping us up. Congratulations on the title I am just annoyed it came at Parma's expense.
I hope you are right but following this club I can't help but think with the history our management has we won't be seeing top flight football for a long time to come unless of course they do something drastic in the summer

Police officer in hospital after the game...
Quote:
Meanwhile the ‘peaceful invasion’ of around 4,000 Inter fans turned nasty when there were clashes with police outside the Stadio Tardini.
One police officer is in hospital with multiple lesions to the spleen, while the supporters destroyed a bar and a school adjacent to the stadium.
Inter fans were barred from entering the arena in the interests of fairness after Roma’s followers were not allowed to go to Catania due to fears over public safety.
However, at least 1,000 Nerazzurri got into the Tardini either by getting their tickets at the stadium or climbing over the fences.
