Inter fans have been banned from travelling to the game.
Not because of the fear of violence, but because Roma fans have been banned from travelling to Catania (clashes are possible) and it was thought this would give an unfair advantage to Inter.

Regardless of whether there will be Inter fans in the stadium or not the Crociati will be out in full force, may even fill the Tardini to the max this time the atmosphere will be intense if Parma win or lose aslong as they give the performance of their lives I will be happy

That's all good, but from what I hear, the Parma tifosi are not happy with management, nor the direction their beloved club is going.
Beating Inter or not, isn't much of a reward with how things have gone.

Beating Inter will more or less guarantee survival and that is what most tifosi want
But others believe (myself included) that B might not be so bad as it means time for the squad to rebuild and come up with a positive direction that the club would progress in on its return to A ... preferably the next possible season!

Parma will likely lose key players like Lucarelli, Budan, Reginaldo. I doubt those veterans will want to play in B...But Parma will WIN sunday so they will stay in A. At least i hope.

Lucarelli has said he would be happy in B aslong as he doesn't take any further pay cuts
Budan I'm sure will leave regardless.... He is our most talented player and has offers from Italy and England
Reginaldo I doubt even Carpenedolo would want him after the dent to his reputation this season gave him... he was meant to be our saviour.... Rossi G's replacement

I'm kind of hoping Lucarelli comes to Roma as a 3rd striker. I've always liked Lucarelli.
I'm surprised Budan didn't move a long time ago...Parma could of cashed in on him years ago.

Gazzetta expected:
-----------Julio Cesar---------------
-Maicon--Rivas--Materazzi--Burdisso-
---Zanetti---Vieira---Stankovic--
-----Balotelli---------Cesar--
------------Cruz----------
Stankovic has played like shit all season, if there is a game for him to stand on his head, its now.

This is his second season with us and we only just got the cash to buy half of him off Palermo, if anything he would go there if fatman doesn't put out.
Lucarelli imo wouldn't settle for playing 3rd fiddle he needs to be the centre of the team which is why I think Di Carlo felt pressured into playing him alongside Corradi which is like the blind leading the blind

Parma's probable XI
Lucarelli
Budan - Reginaldo
Cigarini - Morrone - Parravicini
Castellini - Paci - Couto - Coly
Pavarini
I don't really agree with Parravicini and Morrone in the same midfield it's counter productive especially when Morrone has had such a good season already
I would much prefer a 4-4-2 with Gasba and Regi on the wings and Cigarini - Morrone in the center

OMG....Marrone with a glorious chane off a corner.....6m out and Cesar with the save.........ahhhhhhh
Then moments later the cross comes in and Buadan was inches from the header in the area.
Parma playing well, but they MUST capitalize on their chances...

Parma is up for this match...it's their lives on the line. Marrone playing well so far.
The field is very wet due to the rain...which is a good thing....hopefully it will slow Inter down!!!
