Parma starlet Massimo Paci requires surgery for a fractured jawbone after a horrific training ground incident.
The midfielder accidentally clattered into teammate Marco Rossi during training today and the clash of heads caused both men injuries.
Paci got by far the worst of it, as he fractured his jawbone and will need to go under the knife to reduce the damage.
Rossi was more fortunate, requiring only six stitches to his face.
Parma are having bad luck with head injuries at the moment, as defender Giulio Falcone was hospitalised after an elbow from Christian Vieri in Sunday’s 2-1 home defeat to Fiorentina.
