Parma sign Reginaldo

The Gialloblu are still hoping that Giuseppe Rossi could extend his stay in Serie A, but in the meantime are looking to strengthen their current squad and have eyed the 24-year-old.
According to Sky Italia the former Treviso player could join the Ducali for £3.2m and the transfer could be finalised shortly, his agent Pedrinho has claimed.
“For the time being I cannot confirm anything, there is still nothing official,” said the Brazilian’s representative.
“But as I always said, Parma have been following my client for a long time. I have reiterated in the past that Reginaldo would only stay in Florence only if he had the certainty of playing.
“If that is not the case, he would prefer to play as a first team regular in another team,” explained Pedrinho.
Reginaldo started his career with Treviso in 2000, but he left last summer after six seasons to join Fiorentina following the Biancocelesti’s relegation to Serie B.

Kind of surprising to say the least, in that he would choose to go to Parma, a team that will have at least another trying year, before some of the young guns begin to contribute regularly.

Parma are on the up at the moment, we have a very good chance of going for the upper half of the table as long as Di Carlo can get the belief of the players like Ranieri had.
If Ranieri had been in charge from the off last season we could have been challenging for a Uefa spot.
