Coppa Italia: Parma vs Portogruaro [16 August 2008]

First official match of the season begins at home to Portogruaro in the second round of the Coppa Italia with the winner going on to face Catania in the third round.

Portogruaro went and demolished Arezzo 4-1 away from home in the last round so it should be an interesting match and must have Cagni wondering what system he wants to try out.

I'm pretty sure Kutuzov will get the nod upfront playing just off Lucarelli and from pre season so far it looks as though that can be a great combination.

Game ended 3-2 after extra time... Parma having to come back from 2-0 as usual making things difficult! Catania are up next in the cup.
