Couto pays for punch
Thursday 17 April, 2008
Parma defender Fernando Couto is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after punching Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini yesterday.
The fiery Portuguese stopper was dismissed for dissent in the dying stages in Turin and received a one-game ban.
However, he also threw a punch at Chiellini during first-half stoppage time, which went unseen by the referee but has been picked up on video by the Disciplinary Commission.
Couto, who is notoriously ill disciplined, has been suspended for an additional three games and will play very little part in Parma’s relegation dogfight.
The Gialloblu have additional disciplinary woes after striker Reginaldo exceeded his quota of bookings and will be missing for one match.
Catania’s Jorge Martinez and Giacomo Tedesco will miss the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Roma after bookings last night. Philippe Mexes will also miss out and Maniche won’t be available for Inter against Lazio on May 7

Di Carlo wants to return to Parma
.:: Teleducato Parma ::.
The general consensus is that Cuper will be let go after the Genoa game with Ghirardi looking like he will bring back Di Carlo which would be fantastic seeing as we can actually attack under his coaching and he can instill some belief in players!

We are interested in Russotto to be used on the right wing most likely, excellent investment if it's true!

We're after Dellafiore to strengthen our defence however I doubt he would want to move permanently to B so this may just be another loan move for him.

Zenoni To Cagliari? - ForzaParma.com
Zenoni is wanted by Cagliari.. wouldn't be a disaster to see him go but I'm not
sure if Anelli can provide enough cover for Troest in the right back position.

Parma deny Lucarelli exit Thursday 27 November, 2008
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Parma sporting director Andrea Berta maintains that Azzurri striker Cristiano Lucarelli will be staying with the Serie B side.
Lucarelli, who made his name at Livorno, pledged to stay with Parma in spite of their relegation to the Second Division last season.
But there have been reports that Fiorentina are ready to tempt the international hitman to swell the Gigliati ranks, as Giampaolo Pazzini is failing to play his part at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
“Over the last 10 days there have been voices saying that Cristiano will leave Parma, but they are absolutely untrue,” Berta told Tuttomercatoweb.
“He is one of the best in his role. Pazzini will also become one of the best, but we can't be looking at players who are playing in the Champions League.”
