Foggia? Another loan I take it?

Milan would be stupid to sell him.

If it's any consolation, Milan was briefly linked with him in January.

I feel sorry for the poor guy and would like for him to go somewhere that he has a chance of becoming decent, but from an objective perpsective-- as things stand, yeah, he does suck.

Default Zenoni - Ferronetti Swap completed

F.C. Parma - Sito Ufficiale

Good swap as Zenoni is infintely better than Damiano but he is 7 years older than him....but the good thing is he is alot more versatile and will give Coly a run for his place in the team

Default Contini off to Napoli

Seems pretty much official now, 3 million seems to be the price, which is a good profit on a blunder prone player who never quite lived up to the expectations set for him.

Adriano for Parma return? Friday 24 August, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Inter’s enigmatic Brazilan hitman Adriano may be set to return to Parma on loan, according to reports in the Italian Press.

The 25-year-old built his reputation at the Stadio Tardini when he hit 22 goals in 36 games between 2002 and 2004 while co-owned by the Ducali.

Recently the wheels have come off for L’Imperatore, whose well-publicised misbehaviour off the pitch and poor relationship with Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini blighted last season.

The arrival of prolific Honduran star David Suazo this summer may see Adriano drop to fourth in the Beneamata pecking order, and La Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that he may look elsewhere for regular football.

Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi is reportedly desperate to make a swoop after seeing his advances for Azzurrini starlet Giuseppe Rossi rebuffed.

While the move makes sense in theory, one likely stumbling block will be Adriano’s insistence upon playing in the Champions League.

Early indications suggest that the Selecao star will have to settle for a seat on the bench in the Nerazzurri’s Week 1 tie against Udinese.

too late i guess, less then7 days before the window closes.

Parma: Adriano no, Recoba yes? Friday 24 August, 2007

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Adriano has reportedly turned down a loan move to Parma, but Inter teammate Alvaro Recoba could take his place.

The Brazilian had been on the verge of completing the temporary transfer to the club where he had really made his name from 2002 to January 2004, scoring 23 goals in 37 Serie A games.

It is claimed the two sides had already reached an agreement over the terms, but Adriano rejected the proposal, as he hopes to stay at Inter and challenge for a place.

The negotiations continued and it is now suggested that the deal remains with one small difference – the name on the contract is Recoba.

The Uruguayan is very low in the pecking order at San Siro and would be able to prove himself with regular first team football at the Stadio Tardini.

Parma would pay £670,000 of Recoba’s £1.5m per season wages and the clubs are now waiting for his verdict.

Failing that, the Gialloblu have also expressed their interest in Victor Obinna, who is at Chievo but partly owned by Inter.

this is even new.guess they know that adriano will not risk his high life by coming back to parma.

Bringing in Adriano would mean benching Budan. It's too late to bench the striker we have been building our attack around all summer.

Granted Adriano would put Parma back on the map temporarily, Recoba would be the smarter loan move but Obinna would be an even better option!
