Thumbs up Parma after Kroldrup

Lorenzo Stovini is a 31 year old centre back who plays for Lecce, however he has attracted the attention of Siena so he maybe a difficult possibility

Di Loreto Viola player we are interested in, he played a big part in Viola's futile run to Champions League Qualification, playing 31 games last year. But now they are in B he may welcome a move to the Tardini.

While the attackers Pioli wants are Olisadebe and Lazzari.

If we get Kroldrup and Lazzari then we are almost set for a top 6 finish

Well in the light of the calciopoli debacle we will be lucky for a midseason finish and and healthy run in uefa cup, maybe even go one better than last time seeing as we knocked out the defending champions before lol

PROSPECTIVE XI:

Bucci

Ferronetti -- Cardone -- Bonera/Kroldrup -- P. Castellini

Grella -- Ciaramitaro

Gasbaronni -- Morfeo -- Kutuzov

Olisadebe/Muslimovic

if bonera doesnt sign a contract extension then offload him otherwise he will pull a marchionni next season if he does and we sign Kroldrup, then we have a decent defense for once!

Has Kroldup been playing well in Serie A? If so it looks like he's only suited to the English style of play because in the EPL he was poor.

Tough loss, but no offence, it was only matter of time b4 he left. Parma fans should be used to this by now. Italy's feeder club.

Angry Rubin handed a games rest

Rubin our Uefa Cup opponents this week have been allowed to rest ahead of the game by not playing thier domestic fixture.

I think this is entirely unfair, it happened with CSKA last time out......bring flares anyone?

Lightbulb Couto given fresh chance

Quote:
Couto given fresh chance
Monday 6 November, 2006
Parma have this evening confirmed that Fernando Couto has been reintegrated back into the first team squad.

The veteran defender was frozen out of the squad on October 29 after a verbal clash with sporting director Gabriele Zamagna.

However, the same club official has now revealed that Couto’s days of training with the youth team squad are over after successful talks on Monday.

“This morning, lawyer and board member Cappelli and myself met with the player,” read an official statement.

“At the end of the meeting we informed the player that he could resume training with the first team under the guidance of boss Stefano Pioli.

“The player said he was sorry. Although he will be fined, he is now at the full disposal of the Coach.”

It’s unclear of exactly what caused the rift between the two parties with Zamagna simply claiming that the Portuguese player’s comportment was not satisfactory.

Couto, now 37, will bring valuable experience to one of the youngest side’s in the top flight as they look to avoid relegation.

Default Marchionni and Budel to return on loan?

http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/index...=read&id=46208

Reports are saying that they may both come to Parma on loan in January. I for one would welcome back Marco with open arms he is exactly what we need right now, and Budel is sure as hell better than Ciaramitaro

Well even though Marchionni hasn't been a regular starter for us I'd hate to see him go, especially in the middle of the season. I don't think it's a smart move to be honest.
