Parma have said that the club’s proposed sale to Rialto Holding has collapsed even if the Swiss group insist they are still in the running.
The Stadio Tardini outfit today announced that they have taken up their option to cancel an initial agreement after failing to receive a credit transfer.
But Italian businessman Gaetano Valenza, who owns the company, insists that the funds were available to complete the transaction.
"Parma Football Club are in administration under Mr Bondi," stated Valenza. "We’ve contacted him on a number of occasions but he has never replied.
"We have £25m to buy but if the numbers have changed then we can’t do anything about it. We can just take note of the situation and start again from scratch.
"I want to speak to Bondi in a bid to find out why their mistakes have brought a stop to everything."
Parma were placed under administration after major backers Parmalat were hit by a financial scandal, and have been looking for new owners ever since.
Valenza is also keen to wrap up the club’s capture as soon as possible given that he’s already lined up a new technical team.
"We already have a structure in place with (Franco) Baldini, (Giovanni) Galli and (Zdenek) Zeman," he added.
Baldini and Galli are club officials who were with Roma and Fiorentina respectively last season.
Boss Zeman, a 4-3-3 disciple, is looking for a new job after he quit Serie A side Lecce last month.
