Well, The Big showdown is coming this weekend. UFC 87, with three potential greta fights. You got Huerta facing off with Florian, Lesnar vs Herring and GSP defending the title against Fitch.

Georges St. Pierre vs. Jon Fitch

Look for St. Pierre to win the battle on the feet and punish Fitch every time he shoots. Look for "Rush" to neutralize Fitch's takedowns and wrestling abilities by putting him on his back. Yes, Fitch is undefeated in the UFC. And yes, he is a dominant wrestler. But his last fight was mediocre and he is facing a tough opponent.

PREDICTION:GSP by KO in the 3RD. The only way GSP loses is if he has one of those mental lapses defending his title.... he just seems over confident at times!

Brock Lesnar vs. Heath Herring

Lesnar is one of the most powerful athletes in the UFC with incredible strength, quickness and, of course, dominant wrestling ability. He's a wrestler not a fighter and my only beef is if he can take a punch.... after all, he might think he's still in the WWE. Heath Herring holds is a hard-hitting striker with limited grappling and wrestling ability. Herring's complete inability to defend the takedown and his recent incompetence when on his back puts him at a tremendous disadvantage in this fight.

PREDICTION: Lesnar finally gets a win in his hometown.

Kenny Florian vs. Roger Huerta

Roger Huerta holds a 20-1-1 MMA record and is a perfect 6-0 in the UFC. Huerta's notable wins include -- well, therein lies the problem. Huerta has amassed a perfect record in the UFC and an impressive overall record, but he has not faced anyone notable in his entire career. As for Florian, the man is a warrior! Good of his back, and always in attack mode.

Dana White is billing this match and predicting this fight to be an early contender for "Fight of the Year.

PREDICTION: Florian by submission.... Huerta still hasn't showed me why he's at the top of the heap.

This is gonna be huge although the WEC card this past weekend was incredible as well and will be a tough act to follow.

GSP should dominate I agree. I'm not even sure it will go to the 3rd round. GSP is unstoppable. I don't think Lesner is going to win this one personally. I hear your logic and the odds may be in his favor but I think Heath is too experienced to get pounded. He's also a very strong guy so he can take a beating too. It's a tough call and will be an interesting one because Lesner is such a beast. I give it to Herring but it could easily go either way.

The last one is going to be an amazing fight I'm sure. Huerta showed signs of weakness against The Carpenter and in my opinion got lucky to win that fight. Kenflo is amazing and is so focused. This one could also go either way but I agree with you that Florian should take it although it's going to be to the death because Huerta loves being the poster boy and will not want to get his first UFC loss here.

Apparently Lesnar and UFC will be finished if he doesn't win this fight (They have an agreement where he has to win one of his first two fight).

wow I didn't know that. I guess in that case he's gonna do whatever it takes and the beast might just pull it off then.

Yeah Lesnar is under alot of pressure. If he loses it will mean he'll have to go to a smaller company and take less money as his image will take a big hit losing 2 straight fights. Although Lesnar is already a multi-millionaire from wrestling (and apparantly has his own private jet), and I'm sure he could start wrestling again.

He has stated MMA is the better life though, as he doesn't have to spend 5/6 days of the week every year wrestling and having his body hurting everyday.

Great Card! My two favorite fighters won: GSP & Florian. Brock Lesnar was okay but I must admit that early KO was crazy! I bet you he made dana happy.

Fitch is a warrior. The man took a beating and he lasted 5 rounds. Love the gesture in the end, pure class. This is the rebirth of GSP. The guy was amazing out there! And Penn, you stupid mofo.... Stop being a prick and show some respect.

great fights. I agree with you that Fitch was a warrior. After seeing the first round I thought that he was basically done and then he turned it around and even did some damage but more impressive was the way GSP showed endurance and skill. He is incredible. I'll be honest with you, I don't know who will win between Penn and GSP. I'd want to say GSP is the better fighter because he is more aggressive but Penn is so good tactically who knows. It could go either way.

Was not impressed with Lesnar. I think Herring was crap on the night and is possibly done but Lesnar still hasn't shown anything other than brute strength. I think any fighter with a ground game will take him unless he can get some skills on the ground. He should have taken Heath's back about 15 times.

Kenflo is amazing. Good fight that and a well deserved win.

What did you guys think of emerson's KO? Do you think Mannie was going to carry on? He was out cold for a second for sure but he seemed ok afterwards, no? I sometimes think the refs jump in a second too early but I guess they want to protect the fact that nobody has ever died in the sport.

He was putting vaseline on his nipples, not uncommon but weird nonetheless.
