Fulham return for QPR's Cook

Fulham close on Cook deal

Fulham have been trailing the Queens Park Rangers winger all summer with Lawrie Sanchez keen to bring him to Craven Cottage.

QPR have already rejected two bids from Fulham for Cook, but it is believed the two clubs are close to finally agreeing a deal after Fulham upped their offer.

Rangers are reluctant to sell the highly-rated wide man, but they have previously admitted they would not stand in the player's way if he could move to the Premier League.

Cook is regarded as one of the top talents outside of the top flight and a number of clubs have been credited with an interest in the former Watford man.

However, Fulham are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by luring him to Craven Cottage as Sanchez continues to reshape his squad for the new season.

I just hope that Fulham do better than last season, concidering the money that they have spent on new players.

All players they have spend a lot of money on is average.Okey, Fulham have use a lot of money and sign several players so far, but none of the signings are attractive players.I guess it's good enough to stay up in Premiership for another season but I don't think Fulham will be much a better team.

I'm not 100% convinced on Lee Cook being able to make the grade in the premiership.
