Bundesliga outfit 1. FC Nürnberg have won their last friendly before the Bundesliga re-start in impressive fashion.
Nuremberg host VfB Stuttgart on matchday 18 next Saturday.
In their final winter break test the Franconians beat Czech top-flight side Banik Ostrava 4-1.
Czechs score against Czechs
Jan Polak in the opening minute and Tomas Galasek (40) got on the score-sheet against their fellow countrymen.
Vratislav Gresko (30) and Javier Pinola (59, pen) chipped in with the other goals.
Vladimir Misinsky (52) scored a consolation goal for the Czechs.

I don't understand how can they beat Stuttgart 4-1 and draw goaless with Gladbach.
They face Bayern home now, after 3 days. Very dangerous, we can easily loose, just hopefully not like they demolished Stuttgart.

After beating Stuttgart, drawing Gladbach, Nurnberg is back with another win, this time against actual champions FC Bayern. 3-0.

Nurnberg with another win, confirming their great form.
They beat away Bochum 2-0. Saenko scored both goals in the last minutes of the match, 89' and 90'. Very interesting. Didn't see the match, neither the goals, but sounds interesting when you see the minutes when the goals were scored eh..

Adler agrees Nurnberg move
In-demand 1860 Munich youngster Nicky Adler has agreed to join Nurnberg in the summer.
The 21-year-old striker, who was also on the wanted list of Hertha Berlin and Alemannia Aachen, will move to the easyCredit Stadion after his current contract with The Lions expires in June.
Nurnberg's sport director Martin Bader expressed his delight at the move after Adler agreed a three-year contract, saying:
"We have been watching his development for some time now.
"He is a talented striker who has proved his worth in the second division.
"We are convinced that he will provide us with a useful option for the future."
Nurnberg midfielder Marek Mintal, meanwhile, is closing in on a return to action.
Mintal has been struggling with an ankle injury since September 2005 but he believes he will finally be back in training next month.
"All investigations so far have shown improvements, but it will be very important to see how my foot reacts when I start training with a ball in two or three weeks," he explained.

Nurnberg with another good performance. A 1-0 home win was enough for them to take 3 important points.
