Bundesliga 2008/09, Matchday 6 (PREVIEW):
Eintracht Frankfurt – Arminia Bielefeld
On Sunday Eintracht Frankfurt entertain Arminia Bielefeld at the Commerzbank Arena looking for points as they seek to improve their lowly league position which currently has them sitting in 17th. Friedhelm Funkel’s side have played a game less, but have still only taken two points from their four games thus far. To make matters worse they were dumped out of the Cup in midweek after losing 2-1 to Hansa Rostock in extra time.
Funkel may be without Patrick Ochs after he was injured against Rostock. Should he miss out, then either Steinhöfer or Mahdavika could feature.
Bielefeld’s 2-0 win over Köln last week will have given them confidence and they will be looking to follow that up with another good performance against Frankfurt on Sunday. Michael Lamey is back in contention following his suspension, while both Rudiger Kauf and Artur Wichniarek should also start after injury lay-offs.

Bielefeld Boss: Draw Was Fair Result
Quote:
Benjamin Kohler left it to the 87th minute to salvage a home draw for Eintracht Frankfurt against Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday and in the end both coaches admitted that a point each was likely the most fair result.
"Our heads were in the game right from the start and played particularly well during the first 30 minutes," said Arminia Bielefeld boss Michael Frontzeck after the game. "Unfortunately we didn't take full advantage of our dominance and squandered our chances to make it 2-0.
"That said, the second half belonged to Frankfurt, and they really put us under pressure in the closing period. So, all in all, the tie was probably the fairest result.
Eintracht Frankfurt Friedhelm Funkel said: "Arminia started the better team and we were simply too timid to start. We were really lucky that Wichniarek didn't take his chance to make it 2-0.
"After the break we fought our way back into the game. Honestly speaking, we never really shone but the will was certainly there, so in the end we got a late but I think deserved equalizer."
Bielefeld will fancy their chances of getting all three points this time at home to Karlsruhe next weekend, while Eintracht will travel to face Cinderella club Hoffenheim.
