Hamit Altintop - MIDFIELDER
Halil Altintop - STRIKER
Well, I have misread the article.
Hamit is the one Bayern is interested in.

So, this comment doesn't make sense.

Both of them are.
And I just heard from close sources to Bayern that the board has made an offer to Hamit Altintop and Schalke 04. But there were no details given. Media reported on this aswell.

Hamit Altintop verlässt Schalke 04 - Angebot vom FC Bayern

Schalke 04 continuing their great run and play as they beat Hertha BSC 2-0 with goals from Kuranyi and Lovenkrands. Schalke has left behind Bremen now 6 points.

TRANSLATION:
Hamit Altintop leaves Schalke 04 - offer from FC Bayern
Hamit Altintop will leave table leader FC Schalke 04 to the season end. This divided the 24 years old midfield players the member of the soccer federal league on Thursday after its return of the international match of Turkey to Georgia (0: 1) also.
“I learned much on Schalke and developed me further by heights and depths. Now I decided to leave the association”, said the Turkish national player, who a lucrative offer of the German record master FC Bayern Munich is to be present. Officially the professional did not want to confirm the change to the Isar however yet.
Altintop, which plays since 2003 with the “king-blues”, can leave Schalke for the end of the season replace-free. “I would like to absolutely say good-bye on Schalke with the master bowl”, said Hamit Altintop, its brother Halil before beginning of this play time of the 1. FC Kaiserslautern to the district club changed. Schalke would gladly have extended the contract with Hamit Altintop. “For me he is a master player. Unfortunately it decided now differently. We regret much”, said Schalke managers Andreas Mueller.

I predicted Schalke to fall after January but they have proven me wrong as they look unbeatable.

Their crisis will start soon, they can't continue like this forever. Bremen is a perfect example of this.

Their crisis might start too late for us to capitalise though.

Quick Schalke stats
Current League Form: WWWWW
An easy game on paper for Schalke. If they win this, it will be their 7 win on the row.
And judging their good form, their brilliant play and their composition as a team, this shouldn't be a hard match at all for them.
